Hello All!
I've been recommended this thread so thought i'd pop along and get right back into this saving malarky!
As you can see by my signature, I have a few savings accounts - namely Cash ISA! However, I also save £450 a month regularly, so am looking for another savings account. Yet, i am slightly clueless so any suggestions would be good! Am also considering, perhaps putting the 10k away in a long term savings account and then transfering my £450 a month into my cash ISA - then i can get to that if i have any dire emergencies!
So, any ideas/suggestions are welcome!0 -

LOL, having directed you here for moral support I'm goingg to suggest trying the savings and investments forum for where to stash it all.;) but stay here for the support
FWIW, if you can stand to, in your situation I'd personally be prepared to stash it away for a year for he best rates. You are so young, and not livin with a partner.

Cant wait til payday - £1 going into ISA, £400 going to pay off overdraft - leaving us with atleast £400 -£800 to live on- depending on the overtime OH does - easy peasy! And whatever we have left from our 'living' money will be joing the ISA at the end of May woop woop! Cant believe in 3 weeks we will be over 50% toward our deposit and reduced our overdraft by a total of £1600

JimLad, I asked about an isa transfer today, and she said it normally takes 4 to 6 weeks, so don't worryBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
