Im so glad most of you are on my level of savings. It dents my morale when I see the signatures with 50 odd grand in the savings haha
I agree its quitewhen people have been saving for a year and have thousands over 20k and thats my target and will take me a long time.
Its good to come on here for encouragement though. I like to update my pot so it shows I am making progress. :j3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Just got my deposit back from Rental House; only offically moved out on Saturday very impressed. Putting £700 in my challenge keeping the rest for bills from the house so I am straight.
xx
Very Happy on pay day I will hopefully hit the 8.5k point at least. It would be nice to get to 10k on my birthday in March.3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

If you manage to save £1500 a month, you'll have £25k a year from now - and there's only one of you to save!:o

I look stupid now.....
I wouldn't have had so much, but my Dad died and I have inherited just over £5k which was my starter. Otherwise no where near 25K in a year.

Sorry to hear that, it's not nice for a boost to savings to occur after such a sad event. However I will always remember that my Nan and Grandad (dad's mum and mum's dad) gave me money towards my deposit...so they will be part of my new house as well, which is nice

Sorry for the circumstances Samtoby,
I'm sure your Dad would be very proud of your plans and how well you have done already.

It's ok it's a shame when a parent is lost too soon. But he will be proud of me; he was worried when I had a baby young (18) that I'd be on benefits. Nope, Daddy I'm doing it the hard and proper way ;-)3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:
