The Mountain of Washing is slowly going down.

The dishes have been done and I cleaned the condensor in the TD too.

I still have nothing to wear tonight though.

Found a long black skirt that is nice on, but no top to go with it. Might try and sneak into town with or without the kids when I drop them off at B&SIL's, they live just off the town and the car park has a handy gate leading right onto the town centre!

Or may just wear jeans if they are dry in time.

Right, kids had a snack, dishes done, TD and WM loaded, I'm going to grab a shower. Wonder how long before a child comes to sit on the toilet and tell me I look like a zombie with my green face mask.....

Bit confused, 2 people in the street (14 houses) have their bins out, bin day is usually Mondays, so will have to keep ear open incase they are coming early, why they don't just post it on the website I don't know...

Wouldnt be anything to do with Easter Lil_me? If Friday is a public holiday, then maybe the uplift days have all been brought back by one? As you say, how difficult would it be to post it on the website???

Now, DS1 (who is 6) is asking for a mobile phone. DH thinks we should get an old handset and put one of those free sims in and see if he looses it or not. But is 6 not just a bit young? Who will he phone? (when I asked him it was for me to phone him to come home from the park or so he could phone us when he was staying away)

Hmmm, good question Tia. You'll probably get a better answer from someone who has kids of DSs age. I think it is young for a mob. It might be one of those things that the novelty will wear off if you do give him an old handset. I think DD was about 11 when she got one. She's 15 this year and is still a nightmare. She forgets it, she forgets to charge it. I very rarely speak to her on the mob and the texts drive me demented. I could rant for a long time about the falling standards of written English, but I wont. I'll have a coffee instead. Anyone want one? :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Skintscot - yes it was Tesco - it was reduced from £1.29 to £1.00 (for the smaller bar) for about three weeks. I bought loads- and have frozen them. It's back up to the normal £1.29 this week though, so you may have missed out. And I'm doon sooth on the coast so maybe it was just a regional reduction?

I have been a very good flylady/granddaughter today. Went to visit Nana (86) who is recovering from shingles. I was dishing up rice pudding, but she was out of cream. No probs, lets use condensed milk instead. The use by dates varied between 2004 and 2006  For some strange reason, she keeps her tins in the fridge (always has done). I found a small furry item, possibly a strawberry, so decided to empty the fridge, chuck anything out of date and then clean it. My aunt bought her a new hoover as hers had broken down. So I hoovered the living room, hall, stairs, landing and one bedroom.

(((Michelle))) hope your feeling better now. I take it DS is much better? I know its irritating when people try to help out and it doesnt match your standards. Have you only got 4 days left? Exciting!!
