Cold, wet and miserable just about sums up the weather, makes you feel like that too doesn't it? Started emptying another cupboard to sort out but now I can't be bothered so it's just cluttering up the benches, will sort it in a bit. Bit shocking how much is in there.....

embb, you managed to do way too much in a short space of time, should bottle up your motivation and sell it!!

Got so much to do but I truly can't be bothered, kitchen looks like a bomb site, Kleeneze order due today, I know it's £20.50 but I can't even remember what I've ordered :o Got piles of laundry to do so suppose it'll have to go on the airers. Bit confused, 2 people in the street (14 houses) have their bins out, bin day is usually Mondays, so will have to keep ear open incase they are coming early, why they don't just post it on the website I don't know..

Right, going to check emails and stuff, get all online things done then won't have any more excuses to sit on here all day. Hope you all have a good day.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning all

Two loads of washing done and draped round indoors, it's raining on and off.

Made cottage pie for dinner, just got to switch the oven on an hour before we want it.

Up at 4.15 am - DD2 gone on holiday so DH had to take her to the airport. And he has to pick up DD1 from the airport this evening. Like a shuttle service here :D

    Not much else going on....

Well done Mudbath's DS :) Hope your ankle gets better soon.

    Morning everyone,.

i say that very loosely. I managed a couple of hours kip on the sofa before the cat pounced on me, a couple more in bed before DS woke up at 6:30, and i still feel like death. Not much chance of rest here today as it is DIY central.

DH, and ILS have stripped the rest of the spare room, took the radiator off and washing that out, and now MIL taken DS for a walk down to the post office to post my amazon parcel off and drop a bag at the charidee shop while the rest of the prep work is being done.

I'm still sat here in PJs although about to remedy that. I'm all feverish though, and did i mention at all how rubbish parecetomol is.

I'm hoping all of the spare room gets at least one coat of paint today, and that i start to feel a bit better today as i really need to be back at work next week for them last 4 days. At the moment i feel so poop though i will be getting a drs note instead.

vanilla you sound a lot brighter today.

embb enjoy that shopping - you deserve it after all that flying already. Just shows how easy it is to maintain - and congrats on losing a stone, does that coincide with the new job.

Awww Michelle, I was hoping to see your post saying you felt better ((have a giant hug)) sorry to hear you are still unwell, it is a pain when you can't take anything stronger and I remember being really poorly with colds etc a lot when I was pregnant so you have my every sympathy. Hang in there, it won't be long now.. Oh and sounds like ILs are doing a great job helping your partner, time maybe to close your eyes on how good the help is and just accept it where it's offered. I remember getting frustrated with my Mam when she did come over to help sometimes, but eventually just had to ignore that she did things differently and let her help. Not easy when you are nesting and want everything just so.......but try and just let them help, rest when you can.
