Spooky watching things where you live, been in that council office, met him, seen 3 people and many cars I know so far...................eeeekkkkk hope I don't end up being on it, but I haven't been into town since before Chritmas so hope not...

That park and ride is usless for many commuting people because it closes too early, it's expensive and the buses are unreliable.....well what I have heard from others, I go into town 1-2 times a year and usually use the bus. That woman who was washing her car I've just emailed :rotfl:her son goes to the OT stuff with my little one, I drove past where she was stood today. This is pooooooky!!! Oh, ickle Matthew lives up that road :rotfl: I might have to switch this off before I see me.
One day I might be more organised...........

Good job today wasn't my last day as i was so tired at work i couldn't concentrate on anything very well. I went into work a little bit later than i normally do, as i cleaned the bath and bathroom sink before i left, and sloshed some bleach in the loo. Just need to give that a scrub tonight.

DH hoovered the part decorated bedroom we will put MIL in, so i just need to find out some bedding and make the bed tomorrow, and try and have a bit of a kitchen clean i think. But, not going too mad.

I am feeling a bit flu-ey. Coughing really badly, stuffed nose, really shattered and achey, but not surprising as i haven't really slept well for the past few nights. Mainly stressing about work, so it will be a relief to reach the Easter hols. Tomorrow i will be at home with DS (who is still clingy, shattered and whingy, but hasn't been ill in about 36 hours - fingers crossed and touch wood smiley) and then MIL will be arriving by train at 8:30pm tomorrow night ready to take over child-watch.

polly that cake looks lush. Really professional, mine are usually risen but lob-sided, and i usually put on far too much icing. Saying that the last viccy sponge i made last September  was fairly presentable. Think i might have to do some baking once i am on leave.

anw's mum hope you survived the tea out. Saying that, one lot of cooking/washing up you didn't need to do, and it will be done.

nicki hope DD feels better soon

mudbath did you manage to hoover?

Jill hugs to you - doesn't sound like you could help that, and will probably be one of those things you end up laughing about later - easy to miss things when it is in your blind spot

tracey sorry to hear that about your family friend. Sometimes there are just runs of bad news aren't there. I hate it when it happens though.

man bashing sorry, can't bring myself to do it today - he hasn't done anything while watching DS but to be honest when he has been on a lap all day, i wouldn't have either -he has hoovered, cooked dinner, and will wash up before bed. He also put DS to bed while i laid on the sofa. So somewhere round 2.5 at the moment. No doubt he will enter slobbing mode when i get in a routine with the new baby. But that is how we do it, one does more to help when the other is having a rough time

    Just a quick hi,
JillD, just a big hug for you, think you need it.
Mudbath hope you're a bit toastier now.

Well the last thing on the list today was the ironing, did put iron on but whilst upstairs I noticed everything in the garden lifting in the wind, so spent an hour literally roping things down. It's been terrible here and so strange because we're miles and miles from where the wind was supposed to be bad. Hope you're all okay. Did HM pizza and biscuits - they got the thumbs up.

Please, Please will someone kick my b*m into gear re ironing, I hate it, everything comes out creased, iron on hottest setting doesn't get half the creases out, iron was nearly £50 so not rubbish one but worse than useless, dryer or radiators makes no difference, even boxer shorts need ironing.
:o Sorry for whinging but it just infuriates me so.
    see you all tomorrow.

Mudbath - sounds like a real nightmare for you at the minute, our heating broke twice in a month and it was totally carp having no heat or water. Are you able to claim any kind of sick benefit while being off with your hand? I'm sure theres something you might be able to claim if you get a sick note

    Thanks everyone for the hugs!!
