JillD Oh you must have got such a fright. Have a nice evening.

    zarazara Welcome!

The weather here is starting to worsen. Heavy rain and the wind is picking up. I saw a photo in the newspaper today of two men who took a baby in a pram onto the pier at Brighton. The waves were 20ft. How can people be so stupid.

beemuzed well done for finding something that helps you. See I'm kinda sad and so disorganised (so need something to organise me) that I have an A4 book, it works as a diary and as a chores schedule.

Oh dear Lil_me - my DH would tell you I'm the queen of "to do" note-books (even bought one on our honeymoon and filled it with lists of cores to tackle when we got home!!), but in 37 years I've never managed to do what you do and actually get the lists done! I always find an excuse to do something totally different instead! hence being thrilled at (now) three days fo list being totally completed! How sad am I???

thanks for your kind thoughts people. Hubby home, told him all about it, of course he thinks its hilarious, women drivers etc, when I said I hit her, and then drove forwards about "a foot" to move away from whatever I hit he thought it was doubly hilarious "moving away about A FOOT" ha ha when I'd hit her foot, cant stop cringeing. anyway he is putting kids to bed, I am waiting for my friend to collect me , have had a medicinal glass of wine - thought of you AnW's Mum - cheers  - told you Id have a glass tonight :T speak to you all tomorrow, no flying nor catch up for me today, bathrooms will have to stay grubby one more day (or week possibly LOL)

boddy, getting like that here, LL text back saying she hopes winds aren't too bad here, didn't have the heart to tell her I've just had to put the conservatory clips back in again as she's really nice. Stupidity taking yourself to a pier when weather is like this never mind taking someone who can't say no with them, morons. Like that fella in the Chronicle last night doing over 100mph with kids hanging out of the windows, the kids didn't know any better, he should have, if something had happened to one of those children he'd have never forgiven himself.

beemuzed, I don't always get it all done, ban myself off the PC, doing things for me etc usually helps. :rotfl: made me giggle with the honeymoon one. I was terrible when we moved, everything was so specificially 'to do listed' then I packed the list book in a box and cried because I couldn't find it, I was lost without it :o I have lists for everything, but then things like shopping I sometimes forget the list......suppose at least I try

Mudbath, what a wolly :rotfl: cold must be getting to your brain!!! Some heat is better than no heat, must admit I am a cold lover, I hate being too hot, haven't had the heating until I bathed the boys. DP is the opposite, I swear he's trying to cook us all sometimes..
One day I might be more organised...........

Polly – fab cake, looks so yummy
Sharon – I’m another one who users Spendingdairy – it really opened my eyes, I record EVERYTHING on it, I was always getting £20 out and thinking where the hell did that go? I didn’t use it much in Feb and went way off track
Boddy – glad you had a nice time with your mum, I saw that photo of the pram and wave too, made me feel sick tbh, what a stupid think to do
AnW’s – bit late for good luck but hope it went ok
Jill – OMG, OMFG actually. You poor thing, what a nightmare! Thank goodness it was okay and no one seriously injured and she was okay about it, just an accident. Hope you enjoyed your drink and your not shaken now xxx
Lil me – you look after the house really well, good on you for saving your landlady money, my BIL rents out a house and its been a real nightmare for him
Mudbath – hugs about your thumb and yes, I’d be head in sand too at the minute, I have to do it for so long before I can even bear to think about some things

Right, evening all!!! Been out all afternoon, went swimming – did 40 lengths woohoo! Ended up having tea at my parents so that was nice, looked at my mums new car which is nice but the wrong colour to what she ordered – oops! Just got WM on, need to pack bags and get organised tonight to get us and dogs out in the morning.

Found out at Christmas that a family friend was diagnosed with cancer, she was very positive, played it down and only told close friends and family. She went into hospital last week and I’ve just heard that they’ve sent for her close family to be with her as its not good.

Ok.. check in for the night.. can't be faffed with doing any more today.. my kitchen looks lovely.. I even baked a cake too.. I feel all domesticated today!

I have catch up tomorrow in my bedroom, but that is a small price to pay for the prettiness that was once the state in the kitchen. My last 2 loads of washing are in so I have room to do my bed sheets tomorrow.. and I'll have the girls strip their beds too.

Tracy... (((hugs))) re your family friend.. seems to be one thing after another at yours!

JillD.. I must admit I was giggling too.. it is a bit stupid bending down behind a car though so she is just as much to blame..

for those who haven't noticed.. tomorrows list is live!
