Oh and what you were all saying about your DH's
Mine said 'I've done the washing up/hoovering for YOU' about 3 times - we'll just say he never did it again. We've had massive bust ups about him not helping around the house and he is quite good now and will do little things like hoovering, DW, walks dogs. But he can only manage to look after DS and not do any housework at the same time.Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

Thanks PP, it seems like that doesn't it. Believe it or not I'm at my mums boss' funeral next week, he was a lovely chap and really good to my mum and passed away at the weekend from cancer.Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

My second evening without DP, spookily nice, calm, just chilling, watching Holby which I really like and always forget to record.
Tracy, well done on the swimming, sorry to hear about your friend, sounds like a really brave lady.
That Woman Stops Traffic is on on Channel 4 tonight the programme in Durham which I am going to watch. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
JillD - hope you're a bit calmer now, must've been a real shock, lucky it wasn't more serious though.
Just been Coop for a few oddments, OMG £17.
I was trying to not do much shopping this week, but spent £14 on Sat.
I wasn't very impressed either - tomatoes £1.49 for 5, they did have others but they were all soft as was the cucumber. 6 apples £2.62.
I take salads to work, obviously this doesn't keep for 2 weeks, so needed a top up shop. I think I'd have been better with a proper shop. No local greengrocer, would need a special trip 15 mins each way + parking. Surely these local/late shops can do better than this. :mad:0 -

OOOOH! I just realised I've done 600 posts!!! :j(Well 601 now) Am I really sad?:D
I just told my DH that I was enjoying reading all the "husband bashing" on this thread, and explained that we were all complaining about them doing housework "for you", "babysitting" their own children, and thinking they needn't help out because "I go out to work". When I explained that if I stopped working he would have no clean clothes, no food to eat, be ankle deep in clutter and dirt he thought for a moment, then grinned and said "who says you don't work?". He makes me laugh. :DI do love him sometimes :rotfl:0 -
Lil me - tbh I'm having a lovely evening without my OH as well! I'm missing him and can't wait to see him on Thurs BUT I'm LOVING having the house, tv and laptop all to myself. I'm watching rubbish and chilling on t'nternet - lovely. Meanwhile he's living it up in Cannes but bet I'm having a better timeLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
