JillD sorry to hear about the accident, pleased your friend is ok and managed to plop the little one in the puddle, strange saying that but she must have bloomin' good reactions.

I'm hungry so ended up eating toast, might make some popcorn for me and the boys to snack on. Forecasts for snow, I got the washing I'd hung out in just in time for a drizzle shower, winds look likely to cause issues again as they said on the radio they are closing Roker front etc. Just hoping the stuff stays on the roof that was done this afternoon. DP called to say traffic was bad on the way to the club, usually isn't too bad so possibly people trying to get home early etc.

Text LL to tell her about the roof, think she's pleased as the quotes were over the £300 mark from other companies, one wanted £900 and from what we can figure from the description on the quote it's to do the same thing he's just done for £65, madness (was slightly more than first thought but it was coming off as he went up there)

Right, popcorn, then think it'll be boys bath/bed time. Studying tonight for an hour or so then cook later. Sounds like a plan.
One day I might be more organised...........

jill - hope you're feeling ok. what a shock. like you say... at least you know her (that sounds odd but u know what i mean). how nice that you took the flowers and sweets...all it takes is an apology and a kind gesture like that to make people feel totally different about an accident. enjoy tonight xx

OOh, m so pleased with myself - need to share! Years ago I was very impressed by a favourite Aunt who had a small postcard sized grid of household chores written up above her sink, with the days of the week on which these should be done - and she claimed it always worked for her. Well, I decided to try her system this week, starting Sunday - and so far I have done everything on my list! Usually my lists get abandoned pretty early on, always incomplete, but just now it's working! Excuse me while I go and wash the kitchen floor - all that remains on today's list!

    zarazara welcome, everyones welcome :)

beemuzed well done for finding something that helps you. See I'm kinda sad and so disorganised (so need something to organise me) that I have an A4 book, it works as a diary and as a chores schedule. Each day there is a list of to dos etc. I used a day to page diary last year but forgot to buy one this year. In the back I have a 'to do at some point' list of things like DIY, decorating etc. I also have a 'DP to do page' with a list of what I would like him to do, usually with my help but things I can't do alone like fitting shelves, building wardrobes, putting things in loft etc sometimes that one takes a bit longer than I'd hope to be done. Sometimes I don't post my lists here due to lack of time but they are always in there. It's nice looking back over the month or so and thinking 'I did all that'.

Mudbath, hope you get the heating sorted soon, brrrr, just shivering at the thought. Wish we lived closer as we have electric heaters etc you could have borrowed, in fact no, I'd have just made you move in until it was done.

*crunch, crunch* I love popcorn :)
