Thanks for the tip. However, I think I'll skip the queues and save even more than 21% by staying at home !
  • So if I got at 11pm to order a kitchen, regardless of whether it is in stock or not, I can buy it and pick it up/have it delivered another time?

I'm thinking of walking in with a list of the components I need, buying it with 21% discount and walking out, then picking it up another day.
  • I looked at the website at other offers and if you check the Ts&Cs its says:

This special offer is only available while stocks last so hurry down to your local IKEA store to find out more! Offer ends 15th June (excluding april 19th)

You can see this on all offers so there is definitely something happening...see this link for evidence!

  • NOOOOOOOO, this has left me in a huge dilemma!!!

I've recently had an offer accepted on my first flat and am signing my mortgage agreement on Friday. I've spent the last week designing the bedroom using Ikea's room planning software and have now got everything in mind for the bedroom (over a grand's worth!).

I'm so tempted to go to Ikea on Saturday and buy everything on my list but what happens if the flat goes wrong and I end up with thousands of £££s worth of furnitutre that I can't do anything with?

The savings I'd make would be huge but is it worth taking the risk?!

    Someone HELP!!
  • Hi,
To answer some of the questions posted
The creche; SHOULD be open most, if not all day - however they only take kids over 3 yrs old & there is a max time allocation for each kid
Family - 6am till 8am is for Ikea family members to shop, nice and quiet. **there is also free breakfast between 6am & 8am**
There will be Ikea family offers in throughout the store that will have the normal 25% for family members PLUS an extra 21%
21% discount is also available in the bargin corner
the discount is not on delivery or fitting service.
Wear comfy shoes!! & Good luck

As the market is at the moment, a seller is unlikely to pull out. Still a risk though.

Anyone planning on driving to Bristol for the (possible) Ikea sale this Saturday (19th) should also be aware that the mighty Gillingham FC are playing away at Bristol Rovers, so the M4/M32 will be extra busy with the [strike]thousands[/strike] [strike]hundreds[/strike] tens of Gills fans making the journey west to see the boys grab a valuable 3 points.

Follow the Gills... it's better than shopping!

You could at least have said 'dozens' of fans. I'm old enough to have seen Rovers play at the old Eastville stadium......:D
Does the Sunday market still exist?
