  • .....no promotional points on it, sigh.

mum let me go into boots at the retail park with the meal deals today but did not ocme in with me as did not need anything @ boots herself went back into outfit instead so was left to find stuff in botos myself meanign that although i could get a meal deal i could NOT use the machien as i cannot see it to use it independtly and there were hardly any staff on the tilsl never mind on the floor *which is strange for the retail park* so could not get anyone to help me and the dozy SA was not understanding me when i was asking her to check all my food items in the doggy bag and all the water to ensure i had the right ones *don't like the florida orange and orange/apricot waters and cannot stand tuna, salmon, beef or egg sadnwiches and salads* - i was happy enough that i was able to get a meal deal as this is now a rarity since boots decided to only stock them at the retail park - which is difficult for me to get to independtly as a non-driver - but was really miffed that i couldn't paly the *meal deal game* and check the machine and see if i would get one of these nice coupons.

have job centre appointment on tuesday which means i will only be @ the no meal deals at all town centre branch and that's the last day of the coupons apparetnly. there were no sandwiches left at that time only salads so could not even use the magazine coupon, sob sob.

why can't customer services do anything about these sodding machines???

I may go off you .......<s>

I've just been to Boots who have finally confirmed that they no longer carry the gluten free sandwiches. However, while I was there I thought I would try my Boots card to see what points were ofered on the meal deals. My card gave me 25 points, one of my sons got no points at all but oldest son got 50 points per voucher, so they both used his card to get vouchers.

  • Boots Advantage Offer

Visited Winchester store last week and they did not seem to be aware of this offer neither did their machine which would only make an offer on Soltan - not much of a lunch!! I prefer mayonaise.
  • tbh i don't go for meals out as i am visually impaired and don't like restauraunts that have such bad lighting that i cannot see my dinner, some times i would adore to go out but it is easier jsut to get the equivalent dinner out of tesco's sad as it is.

i admit that i am a nightmare when it comes to getting prepacked sandwiches though and now that i have a job reading the writing does not help matters. the poor sa @ boots didn't quite get it when i was asking ehr to check over all my foodstuffs to make sure i had bought the right things as most of it was in the meal deal paper bag she kept going yes youve got a meal deal yes green yes 2.99! never mind!
