Happy Birthday Klairbear :j:j
Hope you feel better soon Kandipandi, just keep drinking loads of water.
Im just back from weigh in and ive lost 3 lbs!!! I cant believe that as I was such a pig over the weekend (3 pints of beer, 3 dble vodkas n D.coke, 2 rolls and square sausage with butter and tommy sauce, spicy mince and chicken pizza with LOADS of cheese )
Ive been really good before and after the weekend, had loads of ss foods (I ate a whole meon over 2 days and have another one to start later) I also had a grapefruit for brekkie today, and loads of water.
Im going to be good this week as have no social plans, so will hopefully lose another 2lbs by xmas, that would leave me 4lbs away from 3 stone loss and 7lb away from target..:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Hey all
Am driving down to my Brothers in Folkestone on Christmas Eve - leaving our office (near Manchester Airport) at 14:00. Sooooo am looking for suggestions of things I can take to eat on the journey down -so looking for stuff that I can easily eat and with no mess/fuss - when stopped in a layby somewhere. So looking for stuff that is SW compliant or at very least low as poss in syns.
so far I've thought :
Alpen Lights - no mess/ easy to eat n dispose of wrapper
Ryvita Minis
Bottled water - plain/flavoured
fruit wise - not sure - maybe apples/bananasa - mnimum mess etc
maybe some pre packed fresh fruit - come with their own forks so again little fuss n easy to dispose of
any other ideas gratefully invited
thank you kindly (as Benton Fraser used to say - lets see who gets the TV prog reference without googling;))

I was heading into Glasgow the other day for a gig, so I made pasta quiche for me and bf to eat in hotel room (no time and no money lol) it was sooo tasty, I added red peppers, onion, mushrooms, sweetcorn and ham (HEB) into a pasta n sauce mixed with 2 light laughing coo (part of HEA) then whisked an egg in after taking it off the heat for a couple of mins. Popped in the fridge to set then cut into squares, perfect car picnic food..:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
i had rivita minis and fruit for breakfast
having rice for lunch
and tea will have pasta chilli chhese as heb
i had a kebab no sauce and no chips or anything it was 2 am last night lots of salad but that i think has made me put on weight , althought only had one glass of wine all night and diet pepsi the rest ..

Well this takes no effort at all and is so tasty. I just had the other stuff frying while the pasta n sauce was cooking then bunged it all in together. Im glad I made it though or we would of had a kebab later or a chippy. But we were both stuffed. I made you baked bean lasagne last night and it was a big hit with my 3 year old and 18 month old, they are fussy wee bums sometimes.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0
