one of my many talents is cooking - thats why im 18.5st ..

or are you impressed by something else?:confused:
I just thought that you had said you had man flu ( i might have got the wrong bloke here  )- so I thought cooking would be way down the list of things you could do, after moving off the couch, wiping your own nose etc. - it was when my DH had man flu :rotfl:

Well this christmas, like last (i was on the plan then too - but lost my way mid year and put it all back on!) I will be following the plan but being a bit generous with christmas day itself. Im intending to have the same meal as everyone else with roasties in goose fat :j , but not going to gorge out and make a pig of myself. Last year I got weighed on 27th and had lost 1lb and was slimmer of the week. Hope to be good again this year, but already my will is faltering as Im wrapping chocks up for people and making edible gifts.....:o

Hi Lovelyladybird thanks for clearing that up, I thought it was only 2 but im having a dizzy day and my consultant confused me, will have to remember and tell her to change my sheet next week. I usually stay to class but I had to get home for the kids today.

I also struggle for snacks on a red day, I usually buy in chicken drumsticks (skin off) or cook some chicken in lemon and chilli, leave to cool and cut up into bitesze chunks and i just grazr on these throughout the day. The mattessons fridgeraiders are only a couple of syns per pack, I like the tikka bites.
sorry im not much use, im having a green day and just snacking on satsuams and the odd yoghurt.

the dark berry fruit teas (blackberry/raspberry) just taste like hot blackcurrant squash to me anyway

Yes fluffynit, I'm back! I think the pill I'm on is stopping me from losing weight (either that or a medical problem I don't know about!) I did 3 weeks on 1000 calories a day - two shakes, one small meal and 3 snacks under 100 calories and lost F all. :o:confused: Off to the Dr when I can get an appointment so we'll see, but I'm 'sticking' with SW as its what I enjoy anyway.

Fixed the problem of my OH away tonight - I won't be on my own in the danger hours! My mate from work is coming round to cook us a 'roast' style dinner then we're off to the cinema (no need for popcorn/sweets after that dinner!) :j :j

So 100% green day so far:
two fried eggs and a spoonful of tinned spaghetti
    1 apple, 1 banana
Pasta n sauce with a bit of extra pasta thrown in ;)
Mullerlight for this afternoon (if I can fit it in!)
1 litre of water so far - another 0.5 litre to come before I finish work! :T
Roast dinner should be cool except the giant yorkies, but as no syns so far its all good! :T

    C xx

im thinking of doing a chili and butternut squash rissotto for tea - can i use normal rice as i cannot stand rissoto rice as too fine ?

im also making some lemon mouse using agar agar - ill let you know how they turn out ,

You can use normal rice however you will probably need less liquid and I should think the rice wouldn't cook as quickly as rissoto rice. Why not do a chili and butternut squash rice bake instead? Put the partially cooked bn squash and any other vegetables into an oven dish, add the amount of rice you want with double the water and bung in the oven for about 40 minutes. I also put in a couple of dollops of soya sauce before baking. Nice with a sprinkle of freshly grated parmeson on top just before serving. All free on green plus a healthy extra portion of parmeson!:D

I would be very interested in hearing how the agar agar works out, I have never cooked with it and would like to learn more about it!:o
