It is going well but I am keen to share ideas and tips:j
Wow Well done.
Is there a difference in what you were eating before?
got any tips for someone who is thinking of returning to SW?0 -
Went to Weigh in last night Lost 1lb which i was quite pleased with as i did not follow over the weekend as we were away, did get straight back onto it monday.
Was in such a rush from group last night forgot to get the password and just remembered i forgot to fill in my club 10 form.
Thanks

I have some quorn swedish meatballs hiding in my freezer and thought I would use them up. Im thinking along the lines of making a quorn meatball pie. Its based on a recipe I saw in a SW mag - i just cant remember which one!!!
Do i need to pre-cook quorn? I am planning on having the meatballs with a tin of tomatoes, mixed beans in sweet chilli sauce, mushrooms (may be baby onions) and topping this with sliced sweet / normal potato? also a bit of cheese on top
have no idea how it would turn out but thought it was something different0 -
Hi All, I've been AWOL for ages, so sorry, my son started school full time in September and everyone said I'd have so much time on my hands ... well I never seem to be at home and my use of online forums has gone downhill
But I am still doing SW although I've not been to WI for a few weeks 'cos I was away. Hoping to get my 3 and a half stone award on Monday though.
Good luck to everyone,

:j Well done kbb:T and to everyone else, what a lot of losers we are!
Been to WI tonight and lost 2 1/2 lbs, very pleased with that after our weekend away to Scarborough, had a couple of non SW foods but we walked for miles so think that may have helped!!:rotfl:December 2011 Sesky Watch, strimmer, tv, hoover & steam cleaner. March 2012 Straw dogs blueray film.0 -

In my opinion (that's to say, not necessarily SWs) if you only use the amount you would normally eat, then it's ok, but SW may well say differently!
If it's any help Flat Eric, my consultant says the same as Consultant31. If it's the amount you would eat anyway then it's free, if you are eating more, then syn it. I know it's not the official line, but it's good enough for meI saw two shooting stars last night

Oh and my WI tonight was better than I expected. I lost 1lb even though it was my birthday on Tuesday and I 'celebrated' (because when you get past 30, celebrating is the last thing on your mind!) with a takeaway veg balti, boiled rice and peshwari naan....and no wine!!! My consultant said I'd made a fab choice with the curry and rice (prob about 10 syns), but took great delight in announcing my peshwari naan was 27 syns!I saw two shooting stars last night

Well done you two on your brillain losses!:T Hope its my turn tomorrow its my third weight in.
Tonight I made the broccoli and potato bake from the current SW magazine, it was quite a faf but was lovely. It was all free on green (using HA for cheese) and I got a full casserole dish of it, I admit that I did divide it into 3 with the idea of freezing two but after half an hour I went and ate another third!Thank god its free - I have had to loosen my top button I'm stuffed full!
