Well done losers! And, tho I don't post very often, I do read what you all say: SW is a slow way of losing weight, but it is far better to re-educate your stomach, and get your head into thinking healthy!

I have just tried the couscous in yoghurt that I have seen recommended. I can't say I'll have it again though. I went to Russia a few years ago, and every morning we were served something called 'gasha', which was any sort of cereal - oats, buckwheat, whatever, - boiled into a porridge-like consistency and with a lump of butter on top. After the first few days the message got through we didn't appreciate the butter, then we would put jam on it to flavour it and it did fill you up! The couscous-yoghurt tasted very much like it.

    Have a good day everyone

    Hi
Can anyone pm me the Sw password. i have texted my sw consultant but she has not got back to me yet.
I want to calculate the syns for
ASda Good for You Apple and raspberry cereal bars 22g each EDITED 3.5 SYNS
Harvest Chewy milk choc chip ceral bar 22g EDITED 4.5 SYN
Special K Bliss rasp and choc ceral bar EDITED 4.5 SYN
i love a ceral bar with a cup of tea as i am not a choccy bisc person
can anyone recommend one that is low in SYNS.....
Think i may have lost a pound or so this week by thur ....keeping my fingers crossed....
  • i tried the celariac and it was ok, im not a huge lover of celery, but it could have been roasted as well as mashed, so i might try it again

hubby n son liked it but it was dear, £1 to feed the 3 of us once...

as for the threads that are on at the mo about planning, im a huge believer of planning, i think on sw you have to if you want results

Light citrus fruits cereal bar, all 3 syns per 21g bar.

    Kelloggs rice krispies chewy marshmallow/chocolate:
    8g mini 1.5 syns

    28g regular 6 syns.

M&S Blueberry & redcurrant cereal bar, eat well
Count on us apricot & yoghurt cereal bar
Count on us banoffee cereal bar, Count on us berry & cream cereal bar

Ryvita Goodness Bar Apple & Sultana
    Goodness Bar Cherry
    Goodness Bar Cranberry & Raisin
Goodness Bar Mixed Berry - all 3 syns
  • I LOVE the Alpen Light bars (the Apple ones are great, as are the choc & orange) - the best thing about them is that TWO bars count as one HE too - usually I'll have one in the morning with a big bowl of yoghurt and berries - and then save the other one for tea breeak at eleven when everyone i work gets the crisps and biccies out :)

Good to see everyone doing so well - am struggling a bit at the moment. Finding lack of time a real issue with hitting my organisation and having an effect on what I buy....and eat! Had a v bad weekend so am really worried about class tomorrow - didn't go last week though so do have to make an effort.... :(

Ive lost 2 lbs this week, im happy with that as I was a bit naughty as on Sat night I was out and had 2 pints of lager and a couple of vodka d.cokes. :o
I knew I was going to have a few so I had saved some syns, but then I was swayed into having a beer (my downfall) Ive had no syns since Sat night so I thought that would even out, but they must be more than I thought.
I was in Morrisons and was really struggling walking by all the Halloween goodies and cakes, and pizza. I have been good and didnt get any, but im starving at them moment and cant decide what to have for lunch, im having a green day.
