I was going to have the perfect green day today and be very good. I decided to have beans on toast for breakfast, which I did. Unfortunately, I put ordinary butter on the toast without thinking about it! I didn't think until I had eaten it and Im so annoyed that Ive wasted syns on this when a nice low fat spread would have been just as nice!

Never mind, I shall carry on with my green day!

    Happy Birthday sethsgran! :bdaycake:

Beachbeth - I never bother with spread if i'm having beans as they soak in enough anyway!

*Dee* Quorn will substitute meat on a green day, whether you want chicken pieces, mince, chicken fillets and its a speed food too! Then your pasta, rice or potato's are free. Quorn sausages are also free IIRC so you could do a Quorn sausage casserole along with the other quorn meals I mentioned above!

Jolene - you'd laugh if you saw me when I go to my FIL's. I take Hi-Fi's, alpen bars, bananas, fat free yoghurts, savoury rice, diet coke, babybels - the lot! OH is good to me though and will usually cook a SW friendly dinner for all of us when we're there and FIL doesn't even notice! ;)

    Hi Skint-Catt,

I stocked up on hi-fi bars last night at SW, so they will be going with me, I have a food delivery coming today, which I made sure I ordered lots of salad etc, so all that will be going with me as well! I know my mum and step-dad will try to tempt me with lots of synful stuff, hoping I have the willpower to say NO!

    Hi Everyone,

I've been to my new class today and lost a brilliant 3 1/2lb's. My last class was evening so do you think that new class in morning part of weight loss will be because I would be heavier at night?
    Thanks

Hi all you lovely losers out there ;). I have a confession to make ................... I gave in and stood on the scales after my last post, they say I'd lost a pound, hmmmm I was hoping for more but I'm not sure how my scales compare with SW scales, I used to think they weighed me a couple of pound heavier, but that hasn't semed to work out the last few weeks. Anyway I can live with any sort of loss! So the good news is that I didn't then go on and have a blow out:j, I've managed to stay 'in the zone' .I have to say that I've really enjoyed my 'back to basics ' week. I feel very positive, in control and completely motivated to shift those pounds! Hopefully I'll be able to maintain that attitude, I'm just hoping the scales are very kind to me at WI tonight, I'll let you know tomorrow how I get on.

    chili beef noodles...

subtitle_information.gifFill up with oodles of noodles with this low Syn Oriental treat!
    Serves: 4
    Syns per serving:
    Syn Free on Green*
*Add 6 Syns if not using steak as a Healthy Extra ‘b’ choice

subtitle_ingredients.gif 12oz/340g sirloin steak, all visible fat removed
    1 tbsp soy sauce
    ½ tsp crushed dried chillies
½ red, yellow and green pepper
    1 carrot
    300g pack dried egg noodles
    Fry Light
subtitle_method.gif1. Prepare the stir-fry ingredients: cut the steak into strips, place in a bowl with the soy sauce and crushed chillies and marinate in the fridge for at least 10 minutes; slice the peppers and carrot; cook the noodles according to packet instructions, drain and
    set aside.
    2. Heat a wok sprayed with Fry Light and stir-fry in soy sauce and chillies for 2-3 minutes. Add the peppers and carrot and continue frying until softened. Add the noodles, heat through and serve.
Tip: You could replace the steak with 1lb/454g chicken or 1lb/454g pork. Ensure the meat is thoroughly cooked before adding the vegetables (the Syns remain the same).
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
