Thanks for all the info, I do feel as though I had 1 too many salads this week and when I did this last time I had a 1/2 lb gain then too, Only problem I have at the mo is my birthday meal out tomorrow!! Will try my best and still to free food during the day and can have my HE a/b during meal and I either have a drink or dessert but haven't decided which yet, but will stick to spirits/diet coke. Could someone tell me the syn value of a piece of victoria sponge, my son made it in school yesterday and had to sample of course, but hadn't had any syns. Thanks to everyone Especially Flat Eric.December 2011 Sesky Watch, strimmer, tv, hoover & steam cleaner. March 2012 Straw dogs blueray film.0

Flat Eric - alcohol wise, shorts are pretty good - vodka and diet coke, gin and diet tonic etc. Other than that its just Diet Coke! Do Wetherspoons have an online menu so you could plan your day around what you find to eat? Maybe have some fruit and yoghurt before you go so you're not starving and pick something very bad?!0

Green 4 Syns
I think victoria sponge has jam and cream doesn't it?0 -
FE - see if you can get the menu off the website. You could try a salad (ask for no dressing and use HEb for chicken or whatever) or I think they do jacket potatoes. Tip of the day from me is to tell them you are allergic to butter/oil/dressings whatever - they tend to take more notice then if you just ask for it without.:rolleyes:0

Can i do like Skint-Catt and post up my foods as a double check. i think i am going to have to stick absolutely to the plan in order to get anywhere - i have no cheat room at all!
yesterday was green.
milk HEA
BF - scrambled egg, baked beans and brown sauce (1 sin)
Lunch - soup made with chicken stock (the fat skimmed of), mushroons, bacon bits (2 sins) and pasta.
apple
dinner - SW chips and breaded fish (HEB for fish and breadcrumbs, roasted with fry light) steamed veg,
Shortbread biscuit - HM so guessing sins at 6.
Had tea and coffee through out day.
Any comments anyone?
this weekend is worrying as we have a back to school barbeque so there will be lts of junk food I imagine . i am planning to have a big late breakfast to see me through the danger time.0 -
Boscotte - can you take your own food to the BBQ? marinated chicken breasts, steaks etc and/or a big bowl of salad and small brown rolls to use ad your HEb?0
-
Fish in breadcrumbs wouldn't be a HEb - the fish would but the breadcrumbs would add syns too. (unless you're using the breadcrumbs instead of a HEb of bread in which case you're not getting the fibre required by the 57g weight - my consultant always said don't shorten your HEb's!) Was it a particular make? Could look it up on the website for you if you want?0

Argh help! I have messed up on a "red" day and wonder if I can salvage it into a mix to match day?
b'fast - banana
Mid morning (11.30am ish) leftover cous cous salad (free on green)
1pm 100g ham with low fat pineapple cottage cheese and 3 plain rvita (B)
I was hoping to do a red dinner tonight (the steak & mustard stir fry-ish thingy that is in the magazine) ... is the day salvagable if I use 85g of my ham as a HEb and syn the other 15g (help!) or is the timings of what I ate for snack/ lunch too far apart to turn it green and use it as mix to match??0 -
I would syn the ham and have something green for dinner
if not then syn the couscous if you know how much you had, then carry on the way you were.
