advice from a girl who has been there...

......Slice it into 57g pieces and FREEZE IT. Drastic, but it stops the oh-my-god-that-is-totally-delicious-just-one-more-slice-won't-hurt feeling

LOL, voice of experience! I lurve fresh bread. Other than a slice here and there I've given it up too.

Just made a wholemeal loaf in the breadmaker...i take it i can take a 57g slice as a healthy B? There is no seeds in it, just bog standard loaf..but is smells sooooooo good I want to scoff the lot with butter. Not eaten bread for about 6 months.
But- will it stop at one piece with no butter? not in my house...:o

    Well done, insincere!

I freeze HM bread too! Then on the odd day when I have a sandwich in my meal plan I can just defrost what I need and not be tempted by the rest.

Today's meal plan has gone a bit to pot, however, as I thought there was a piece of pork in the freezer and it wasn't there! So I am improvising a tad, and will use all my syns on the improvisation, but I'll be ok I think.

My Wednesday WI reports another 1lb off, so that's 7 of my 21 in the first 3 weeks. If this loss follows the same pattern as the last one it will now become the odd 0.5 or 1lb every couple of weeks, so I need to install my full quota of patience and grit my teeth! Mini target was a stone before Christmas, so I'll focus on the next 7lbs for now.

Lost 2lbs at my WI last night. That's 8lbs in 3 weeks so I got my half stone award. I've got about a stone still to lose but I am expecting the weight loss to slow down a bit now. Hoping that I will lose it by Christmas though....fingers crossed!

I have been struggling with the SW diet over the last few months and my weight has accordingly gone a bit haywire.... I lose one week then put on the next two!

I have been debating whether to still go to class as £4.50 is a lot each week and the class isnt as much fun as it used to be (our class night changed so a lot of members left). The consultant although very nice can be a bit critical when you have too many weeks putting on which I guess is her job but I do feel she is making more of a song and dance about my weight gains when I really aint that fussed if I eat one too many treats!

I also have lots of food at home that itnt slimming world friendly but in the current financial climate, cant afford not to eat it at some point....

I need to review my spending as I think I spend far too much on food (there is only me and my partner and a cat!) I seem to spend close on to £100 or more on a home delivery shop but then go to another supermarket days later for one thing but end up spending in excess of £20! I have no idea what I spend each month but much more than I need to!

what do other members spend on food each week and how do you budget with the slimming world foods. can you offer any suggestions for slimming world foods that are cheap chearful and as syn free as possible???
