vtmil, thanks - 11lb in two weeks is amazing! I know SW does work as I've done it before (which doesn't help as boyf keeps asking why I can't lose 3.5st in 5 months this time :( )

consultant - thanks for your words. Struggling to find anything at the mo as boyf and I argued last night and my jobs on the line at work so not much going for me right now! But I know there's always someone worse off than I.

Hey guys - Ive only just found this thread but I've just started slimming world again after having my third (and last son). I lost 5 stone before that and am hoping to lose about the same again (I was about 3 stone off target when I fell preggers)

SC - hope you have a good day :)
  • Hi there

I'm another one currently going it alone. I had attended a class for 3 months earlier in the year but had stopped when a close relative became very ill & I need to help look after them. I really enjoyed the class and would love to go again but at the moment time constraints and cash are holding me back. Jopefully I'll be able to rejoin in a couple of months.

Hello Muffy, Klairbear, Debtfreeoneday and Cherryblossom.
petit peche, i do the online SW - bodyoptimise, as I can't go to a group. I think it's pretty much the same as the online site you get to access if you're in a group.

i would like to belong to a group and I really appreciate all the support from this forum. i haven't visited the other slimmingworldclub yet - only have time for one forum I think.

this week i've lost a pound which is OK. I have been feeling pretty hungry though. I've been doing mainly red days and I think I miss the carbs to be honest. I also need to stock up on more fruit.

Anyway, it's green today. pasta with a HEB meat and sauce for dinner - I had an omlette for lunch.
  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, weigh in tomorrow. I look forward to it all week. I actually feel like ive lost weight this week so fingers crossed. Im hoping for my first official 7lb. meep. x

  • It's great to know that so many of you have the will power and motivation to diet without the classes.

I had a wonderful tea tonight - green day - mediterranean roasted pasta bake. I think I got the recipe from a forum member (sorry can't remember who!) and it is fab, and it has lasted us two days.

Without knowing the exact measurements I roasted some red pepper, 5 small red onions, 3 courgettes and one aubergine and then added 3 tins of chopped tomatoes to it with some spices. I cooked a full bag of basics pasta, let it cool then stirred in a large tub of virtually fat free fromage frais. The tomato mixture went at the bottom of a lasagne dish and then the pasta mix over the top. I then grated some value cheese over the top.

It was really cheap too because I used Mr S Basics ingredients.

In oven, baked for 30 mins yesterday and then the remainder heated in the pinger today.

Thanks to the original poster for this!:D
