I had a wonderful tea tonight - green day - mediterranean roasted pasta bake. I think I got the recipe from a forum member (sorry can't remember who!) and it is fab, and it has lasted us two days.
Without knowing the exact measurements I roasted some red pepper, 5 small red onions, 3 courgettes and one aubergine and then added 3 tins of chopped tomatoes to it with some spices. I cooked a full bag of basics pasta, let it cool then stirred in a large tub of virtually fat free fromage frais. The tomato mixture went at the bottom of a lasagne dish and then the pasta mix over the top. I then grated some value cheese over the top.
It was really cheap too because I used Mr S Basics ingredients.
In oven, baked for 30 mins yesterday and then the remainder heated in the pinger today.

well, back from weigh in and lost half a pound. it always does this, every 4 weeks i have a disappointing loss. it doesnt coincide with star week so its not that, maybe its just hormonal??!!
anyway, half a pound is half a pound so that makes 1 stone 7.5 lb in 10 weeks so I am more than happy with that!
hope everyone else is lucky *fingers crossed*You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
Just had a TOTALLY yummy dinner :j Made myself some egg 'fried' rice, and served it with 'Aromatic Beef and Butternut Squash' All free on green with one HEB (the beef)! There was far too much for the two of us, so have just put two (smaller!) portions in the fridge! Honestly, one of my tastiest teas for ages
:T .... and so ends my week of green. I am now going to start a week on red, and maybe keep this pattern up and see what happens. By shaking things up, I get the cookbooks out each week and have planned and really enjoyed my meals all week!
I weigh in on tuesday evening, so we shall see how this week has faredBut in a way, I am pleased whatever the result - I have had a week of lovely food, healthy and delicious  (although, of course, I do hope I have lost on the scales too!)

I've done the plan 100%, have 17 syns left for the week even after the meal last night and I've put on 5lbs this week. Great. How can I lose 5lbs by 6pm tomorrow?0

<<big hugs>> for S catt ...
Is it star week (am I clutching at straws???)
It's my weigh in at 6pm tomorrow too... my plan is superfree breakfast, red lunch (no syns) no water/tea/anything after 4pm and eat (red) dinner after weigh in.
Not sure it would shift 5lb, but it keeps any fluctuations at bay.....0 -
Scales have always been inline with the SW ones.
No star week - I don't have them!
I never have much on a Tuesday to eat or drink anyway as I'm usually running around like a headless chicken like today - but 5lbs! :eek:0 -

Hello all *waves*
I've been doing SW since May this year and have lost 2st 1lb. The novelty has worn off though! I am sticking to plan each day, but once a week will have something I shouldn't and then spend the week making up by missing syns because I've had 40 + over the weekend!
I also end up eating millions of baked potatoes with cotage cheese or beans because I am so tired when I get in from work that I really can't face cooking butternut squash and red lentil curry!I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care0 -

This shows just how the scales can be an enemy as well as a great friend showing weight loss. Sorry to hear about that - it will probably disappear as quickly as it came, and then you will feel happier because you have lost! I have given up all the weighing.
I had to stop slimming world classes due to extreme financial direness, but am following the plan still. Weigh myself on the Monday and that is it - I am fed up of the highs and lows of the scales - one minute you are depressed (apparent weight gain) and one day you are happy (apparent weight loss) - maybe it is more realisitic to weigh once a month???
I too am on the go all the time, but its seems to affect my weight, not a jot!!!
Ladies if you are still under 40, get that weight off now as it is sooooo difficult when you reach those akward years!!!!!!!!:DGrocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
