hey teeni, thats a brilliant start. :D
  • Hello everyone, well done on your losses! I haven't posted for a long while but I read your updates every day. I thought I ought to let you know how I am doing!

I got to target in June with a total loss of 1 stone 10 lbs and have managed to stay within the three pound margin since then. About four weeks ago I found out I have a type of depression that makes me lethargic and also crave carbohydrates, no wonder I needed to lose weight!:rotfl: Since then I have been taking Paroxetine and things have definately taken a turn for the better. I am way less irritable with the kids and life is going much more smoothly in every way. I saw the Dr again this morning and we agreed to carry on with the same dose and see how it goes for another 2 months. It may be that I will be on this medication forever, as I have had this problem for a long long time now.

Anyway, I went camping last week and missed my weigh in but according to my scales at home I haven't had a disastrous gain, despite the fish and chips, 2 Magnums and lots of biscuits! I am being very careful now as I know it can catch up with you sometimes! My weigh in is on a Wednesday night but I'm not sure whether I will be able to go this week as I am off on holiday again on Thursday morning! We are going to Paris for 4 days and I know it will be a lot harder to stay on track than it was when we were self catering in a tent! Luckily there is an article on the SW website all about eating out in France, so that should give me some ideas. Basically, I will stick to red and avoid wine, cheese, white bread and croissants! Easier said than done though, I love those croissants.:o

    Hi everyone
Been to Scotland for a couple of days to visit grandchildren and of course children too!
I was really good and only strayed once to eat a small piece of my grandson's birthday cake and counted it as syns, but was totally gutted to gain 1/2 pound as I'd still been good, consultant put it down to * week!!
I did how ever lose 5lb the week before, the week before that I only lost 1/2lb and 1st week I lost 5lb, I seem to be losing better on green so I've stuck to that this week to see if that makes a difference! Well done to all the losers and those who've gained or stayed the same can I come and sulk with you? No can't think like that tomorrow's another day and best foot forward!

Well, went to weigh in this morning, and despite being on holiday last week I lost 5lb so that makes a total loss of 2 STONE 11LB since the beginning of April.

My next goal (apart from 3 stone!) is 3 stone 3lb which is what my nearly-5-year-old currently weighs!!!!

Good luck to everyone for their WI this week

    WOW! well done.

  • Hi Reddeb,
I had a similar blip today.I've followed the plan 100%,upped my activity levels and had mainly red days as these seem to help my weight loss.I felt thinner all week,my jeans were hanging off me and when I weighed myself on thursday I'd lost a pound so was really excited about weigh in!Then sunday night I was craving carbs so had a green day,big plate of pasta, the next thing I know I've got a huge swollen belly and when I weighed in this morning I'd lost a paltry 1/2 lb.Essentially a bit of pasta worked out as 1/2 a lb on,at least!Arrrggh:mad:

The moral of the story?Only eat pasta after weigh in!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
    :T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T

    Morning

Off to weigh in this morning, and I haven't been sticking to the diet really. Because of baby sitting and work, I haven't been to weigh in for a few weeks, and I have been 1/2 lb off my club 10 since 15th July :o

It's my own fault, and I'm not complaining, but I'm sure if I can get my Club 10 today, it might motivate me and get me back on track, so wish me luck
