All varieties of stock cubes are 1½ syns on both Original and Green. They weren't in the Food Optimising book, but I found them on the Lifeline Online site. Have you tried it yet? You can put in your weight each week, and it draws up a graph for you, which I like. There's recipes and useful info on there too. You'll need the password to access it.
