Just popped on to wish everyone a healthy and happy start to a new week. I am always surprised how quickly a week goes, it seems no sooner I've been to Weigh-In than I'm off there again.

I'm hoping to do a few long bike rides before Thurs night (W.In.) and will be sticking to my plan. I really want to get into the next stone down category this week.

I saw my niece yesterday who I haven't seen for about 18 months and she said straight away I looked slimmer, so that's good. Mind you, her Mum had told her I'm slimming so that might be why!;) I have been really surprised that so few people have noticed, but most people I talk to say it takes about 2 stones for people to really notice.

    Have a great week everyone!!:j

Well, I have been trying for my Club 10 award for a few weeks now, but due to holidays, and looking after my grand-daughter,I haven't been able to get to my usual morning class.

I have vowed to get my Club 10 this week, but realised that I will have to go to another evening weigh-in, which means I won't get it again - yes, I'm certain, went to a BBQ last night, so would probably struggle at weigh in even if it was in the morning. I weighed myself this morning, and I am currently 1 - 1 1/2 lbs too heavy to get it

I really don't want to pay £4.5 to be told that I have gained, but am worried that if I miss a week, I won't go back :o

Charlies Mum, I hope this isn't too late, but if you don't go won't your consultant charge you anyhow(mine does) ,so you'll have to pay the 4.50 regardless. More importantly maybe you haven't gained and maybe the body magic bit will make you more determined this week. Also if you were weighed in the evening last week too, it'll give you an idea how much you lost/gained or otherwise in the last week. if you are anything like me and don't go you won't stick to the diet!

    Kay I'm done now.

Well done to all the losers/sts'ers and chin up to the gainers, you've all done so well and weigh less than you did when you started!

I'm off to weigh in, in a bit! Last week I sts so hoping for a loss this week!!!

:hello: Hi all, back after a fortnight of Irish cooked brekfasts and lots of seafood and walking! Unfortunatly also had far too much wine and bread but I'm back on it now - egg and spaghetti for brekkie, yoghurt for snack and savoury rice for lunch. Not sure for dinner yet but got loads of free stuff in! I think I've put on about 5lbs since my last weigh-in but feel fitter and better than I have done for years!!!! :j :j :j :j

Just popped in to say that we are off on our holidays to France tomorrow, so I won't be around for a fortnight.....

So, I have to be good, as this is the plan:

:jI will stay in control while I am away, and I will gain no more than 2lb over the fortnight.

If I keep to this (and I will try, but Hubby is a bit of a bad influence!), I will be dead chuffed, as a fortnight in France would normally mean (at least) a 7lb gain....

(I remember the week in Italy, being cooked for my the 'mamas' where we both put on a stone!!!!!)

Of course, I would love to lose, but by thinking about how much I am willing to gain, I will eat well, I will have (sensible) treats, I will use my flexible syns, and I will stay in control.....

Good luck to everyone else for all your weigh ins over the next fortnight..:grouphug:
  • Good luck Angie and hope you have a fab holiday. You sound like you know what your doing so i'm sure you'll be fine. I now what you mean about hubby's being a bad influence:D

Can someone please pm the password please? i think the one i have is about 2 weeks old. Am attempting macaroni cheese back for dinner tonight. Hope it goes better than last nights chick pea curry

Have a great holiday Angie - you lucky thing! I reckon you'll do OK - I had a short hol in June and it just means stopping & thinking before you choose what to eat and reminding yourself how much better you feel from losing weight!! ;) And get in as much exercise as you can - I did and I think I lost a pound that week! Still had a great hol!:j
