    Hello Everyone!

Weigh in was last night, I put 1 1/2lbs on. Not too bothered with it cos I was expecting a gain. Went away for th e weekend. It was a Hen weekend, I had a big blowout food wise! But I know I can lose it so not bothered by the small gain. It was all food cos I don't really drink, only had two glasses of wine the whole weekend.

    Jolene

p.s Got my brother-in-laws wedding in four weeks, my target is to get mt 1 and a half stone award for that, got 5lbs to lose to get it. My hubby is best man so need to look good!
At least you know where and why its gone on Jolene. And you have a great attitude towards it. Plus you have something to aim for which i do think helps.
Im guilty of having amnesia in the past when it comes to eating . And then been upset as to how ive gained weight. Then just throwing the towel in thinking 'well thats it ive blown it' might as well have everything i want overdose on choc, cakes sweets biccies you name it id have it. Quite hard to break that habit. But now im older and wiser :D Ive fianlly realised that i was only cheating myself. I now know that i can have my cake and eat it if i want to.:j Plan and syn.

Im sure you will get the 5lb off by time the wedding comes along.. Good luck :D

    Hi all :hello:

Congratulations to all losers and maintainers, gainers, don't worry it will be better next week.

Well I have to report a 1/2lb loss this week, which is not great considering I put on 1/2lb last week.

So yet again, I have still not made my stone   My consultant is even getting a bit cross for me now.

Still I know why this week had a few (is 6 a few?) red wines on Saturday night at the hotel and fried egg and bacon for breakfast on the Sunday then was hospital visiting and travelling all day and didn't eat again until 8.00pm.
(mind you did spend 2 hours thats walking around Margate waiting for the visiting time to come)

Anyway, I am on track now and as I like a coupld of glasses of wine in the evening (syns) I have decided to alternate the nights and see if that helps at all, and also follow the plan to the letter 100% so we will see what next week brings.

    Sorry for the book :rotfl:

Good luck to all for weigh ins

Well done Nessa thats still off rather than on which is always good. You will get to that stone next week.. You follow the plan 100% and it will work for you. I do think any kind of change will be good. Ive been having a swap around with my food this week. I always have fruit for brekkie but have been having toast. scrambled egg ,cereal. Just something Peachy posted the other day got me thinking. Plus it does stop getting bored and fed up with the same thing day in day out. I do noramlly try to have a variety but do struggle sometimes with brekkie. Never used to eat breakfast but made the effort this time round and i actually enjoy and look forward to it.
Good luck for next week :D

I second that recipe wise. So think I'll be doing one of them over the weekend.
Welcome Moosetastic, I have a long way to go as well. Ideally I'd like to get into the healthy BMI band. As you can see by my Sig I track it each week and have a long way to go.
Weight wise I think it's nearly 8 stone I need to lose. So I'm getting there, I know it's going to take me a long time and that it's a whole lifestyle change that's needed and there is no quick fix.
On a brighter note I've been going for 7 weeks am a pound off my Stone and half, and bought and fitted into some size 18 tops yesterday. all my current ones are 22's! So I've dropped 2 top sizes already! (Now if only my bum had reduced as much!) :rotfl:
So all in all I've had a good week. I got stopped in the street and chatted up on Monday. That was one massive ego boost!

Hiya Scroogey!! Wow thats fantastic! :j Well done you!! :T

I am really liking the results of this diet. My sister has lost almost 2 and a half stone and my friend has lost over 5 stone already! Its so inspirational to see such big losses, on what is a fantastic way of eating and living your life. I am never hungry, and believe me, when you have been on every "diet" going, even some risky things like slimfast, cereal for 2 meals a day, etc etc etc this feels like the easiest thing in the world!!! I am looking forward to starting a line on my sig with my weight loss, my main target is to lose enough to be able to go on the rides at Disneyland Paris when I go in November, and then, from then on, who knows??!!! Ive been a big girl all my life, and have always hated the way I look, this time its me calling the shots and my body is in for a shock!!! :rotfl:

Wow some great weight losses - well done Angie and Scroogey.:T :T

Just back from WI and I lost 1 lb so I got my 1 and a half stone award!!:j :j :j :j One pound doesn't sound a lot does it, but as my consultant said if you lose a pound a week for a year that's 4 STONE!!!  I can definitely feel I've lost weight and am feeling much healthier.

I bumped into my niece today who I have not seen for nearly a year and she didn't comment at all, which surprised me really because her weight is very up and down and she knows all about dieting!

A friend of mine (who has lost 6 STONES) visited her friend who lives abroad and she was SO disappointed that her friend said nothing about her weight loss and her new image. What is it about some people that they can't give other people compliments or at least acknowedge that they look well or healthy.
