Brownjasperdog, I was on floxetine last year (gave them up 12m ago) they were much better that the Seratraline I had been taking before - didn't make me feel so 'numb'. xx

I was on mirtazapine and as i said to my doc they not gonna make me feel less depressed if i putting weight on, she's changed me to citalopram and said they should curb my appetite a bit. at least now my cravings for double deckers and soreen seem to have subsided now!!The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about - Oscar Wilde:beer:

What's the x-press weigh in?
The new x-press weight in is fantastic, the whole paper system is replaced with a laptop and new scales, you will all get a credit card type thing to place in a card reader which holds all you information, you then pay and move along to the scales where your card is placed in a Pda unit and then you get on the scales. This speeds us the process loads and makes it easier for the consultant at the end to do image theropy as she has everyones info at the touch of a screen on the dpa which she has round her neck.
It is all abit high tech but is great as hoildays ect can all be entered into the laptop system and saves filling in hoilday books.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
My main tip is if you need your syns use them, or other wise if you dont have something you fancy for a long time when you do have it you will over indulge.
I found during my blip when i kept maintaing or putting on the way i got back on track was lots and lots of water, making sure the fridge was full of quick things to grab when hunger hit such as pasta quiche,potatoe salad and cold savoury rice, because other wise i couldnt be bother to make anything and would end up eating chocs or crisp!!
Writing everything down like i had done at the start help too, i found i was have one to many healthy a + b without realising it and not using up enough syns which can sometimes slow your weight loss down!Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -

Yes thats right when all groups have it this will be the case, someone at our group asked as we are the first group to get it what happens if we go somewhere they dont have the new system, but your weight it still recorded in your book for your records too so you can still use groups that dont have the system yet, but once everyone has it it will mean your group will have a recored of which group you attened and what your weight was, the group you attend will also know from the card if you have a countdown or owe back fees.
Its all clever stuff im just glad i didnt blow anything up when i used the laptop this week for the first time!!Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
I have posted on this thread before, as I have been following the principles of SW for a while, but after not really getting anywhere for a couple of months (where I was saying to myself "I'm not really following it so I can have that"!!) I finally took the plunge and joined my local class on Monday night! Totally scary and really don't know what I've let myself in for, but as I have a lot of weight to lose (easily 10 stone minimum) I really need that finally kick up the preverbial that I have lacked for so long!!
Hope you lot will help!!You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
Welcome moosetastic! I have 7.5 stone to lose though aiming for 5.5 as my first happy target! If you stik to it it DOES work and you should never be hungry0
