Can anyone recommend their favourite fat free and syn free of course, natural yogurt? Someone told me they like Yeo Valley, but it would be good if there was a cheaper own brand out there.

Hello everyone - joined SW 8 weeks ago & have lot 12 1/2 lbs BUT I have been faffing around for the last 4 weeks - putting on & taking off the same lbs, and really need to get myself motivated.

I have been lurking for a while now, but woulld really love to join you all please and to get back on track! I have lots to lose so will need to be here for the longhaul.

Hi Cherry, welcome to the thread. Don't worry about faffing in the past, it's known as 'taking the scenic route' :rotfl: . Now you've got all this support, you'll be fine.

I wanted to ask about Bank holidays, maybe Consultant can answer this one for me?

I go to WI at 10am on a Monday. My consultant also does sessions at 12 noon, 4pm and 6pm. But on Bank holiday Mondays she just does one session, 6pm - 7.30 that we all go to.

Now as I'm usually weighed in the mornings, I don't want to be weighed in the evening and also, we're usually busy on Bank holidays, but if I don't go, I either have to book it as a holiday or I lose a week of my countdown as I pay in advance.

    Does this sound right???

    TIA, TG x

I'm afraid that's the way it will work, unless you asked at the paying stage of your countdown for a holiday week. You do get 6 weeks holiday though, so will still have a few left for when you can't make it. It's a bit of a nuisance having a Monday group as it's always affected by Bank Hols.

Is there another local group you could go to for that one week on a day more convenient to you?

Tobys_mummy - the prawns in soy sauce wasn't me (was gpuss), but I believe it was prawns marinated in the sauce and cooked on the bbq or George Foreman.

    Hi Tractorgirl

I always get weighed at 9.30 am, but today and next week, I have to go to the 5.30pm weigh in. I know I am probably going to weigh a couple of lbs more, but should see it come off when I get back to the 9.30 weigh in.

I did consider not going for a couple of weeks, but that is the start of the slippery slope, and I am determined not to give up :D

    Well,

Despite having to go to an evening class instead of a 9.30 am one and

Despite being on holiday last week, and eating lots of things I shouldn't

    ........... I lost 2 1/2 lbs :j :j :j

I spent today looking after my granddaughter, and pushed her pram into town which took about 25 mins, mooched around the shops and then pushed her back - maybe that helped :D

Anyway, that's finally taken me past the 1 stone mark. Right, now for stone number 2 :rotfl:
