brownjasperdog wrote: »Hello all, I am trying Success Express today and I thought you might be interested in my meal plan. I hope to goodness it works miraculously, since I've binged on chocolate all week so far!
Breakfast: 1/3 plate rice pudding (inc. HEA milk)
2/3 plate frozen summer fruits (defrosted) and fresh blackberries
Snacks: Mullerlight, fruit, 2 babybel (HEA)
Lunch: 1/3 plate pasta and salmon left over from last night
2/3 plate salad leaves, celery, cucumber, beetroot, tomato
Tea: 1/3 plate bacon and baked beans
2/3 plate quorn sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, egg
I also have 2 HEBs left over that I can add to the meals or take as snacks I think.
If anybody can spot any errors, please let me know!
It looks good to me BJD. You could have some bread with your tea as a HEB. Success Express does work, but whether it'll cancel out a chocolate binge remains to be seen - if it does, let us know, we'll all do it
Ooh and don't forget, you're still entitled to your 5-15 syns as well!!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

My husband goes to a different class to me (because of the kids)and he won the raffle this week which was a shopping basket of 4 meals!!
I have cooked the Sweet Potato Curry this lunchtime and it was great and easy too!!
Free on Green
300ml /1/2 pint of stock made from chicken bovril
750g/ 1lb10oz sweet potato peeled and cubed ( bitesize pieces)
1 onion peeled halved and thinly sliced
225g/ 8oz baby spinach leaves
2 garlic cloves
1 red chilli de seeded and thinly diced
1 tbsp of medium curry powder
4 ripe plum tomatoes chopped
salt and pepper
1. fry off onions lightly with fry light in a pan and fry the garlic and chilli for a min to soften slightly.
2. then add stock and potaoes to the pan bring to the boil and cook gently for 5-6 mins.
3 Add curry powder and tomatoes to the saucepan stir well and cook for 10 until sweet potatoes are tender.
4. I wilted the spinach in a small frying pan with frylight and drained off the excess water before adding to the curry.
I did adapt the original recipe slightly by frying off the garlic and chilli first instead of adding it to the stock -I think it would taste better and I didn't want to add more liquid to the curry from the spinach.
See what you think! i had it with boiled rice.Plan to PAD Everyday 2024Credit Card - £3662.99 (int free to 11/11/25) -PAD TotalsJan 2024 -0 -
Next week the three biggest losers in our class are going to tell their stories and are allowing us to ask questions.
One lady has become a good friend of mine and she has lost 7 st 7lbs!!
I wanted to do something special for her and we always talk about not being able to imagine that much weight so I am going to buy 19 bags of potatoes (2.5 kgs size) which is the equivalent of her weight loss. I think she is going to be flabagasted. I think it's going to be an inspirational night as I have as much or more to lose and am only 1 1/2 st along. i am hoping to get my club 10 too on the night. I need to lose a pound but have had quite a few syns so will need to pull back in the next 3 days!Plan to PAD Everyday 2024Credit Card - £3662.99 (int free to 11/11/25) -PAD TotalsJan 2024 -0 -
Hi all,
I hope you are enjoying the weather!:D:D
I love the sound of the sweet potato curry. I'm not keen on spinach when it is cooked but I could substitute some spring greens I've got. Might make it tomorrow as am on red day today.
Just in case it is of help to anyone my menu is...
Breakfast...2 slices wholemeal bread (HEB) toasted with marmite and Laughing cow (HEA) plus 2 Alpen light bars (HEB)
Lunch...Grilled lamb steaks with salad and cottage cheese followed by banana
Tea...Roast chicken with more salad and fruit for pud
Would normally not have salad twice in one day but it's so warm and sunny I don't feel like hot veg.
Have a good day all.Tess x
