Am I alone in thinking that Quark and Fromage Frais spoil recipes? The only way I can use Quark is mixed with the Options hot chocolate sachets to make a kind of mousse dessert.
Fromage frais - I can only tolerate with a bit of sweetener in to have with strawberries. I also use it mixed in with those 2 syn jellies half and half.
Any thing I have made cooked which uses the FF or Quark I end up chucking out. Shame really - I do want to like them, just don't!!Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Like mayo a tbsp is high in syns and if you like using mayo alot , it eats into your syns,or hoummus its high the same thing ,so thats why i use quark , by adding a little bit of what like you get alot back and once syned its free :T

Hi what she means is if you mix together 2tbsp of houmous and a tub of quark it makes the houmous go further and is a lighter version than eating all the houmous as quark is syn free so all in all it has a syn value of 3synsYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
