It's really helpful, Peachey, as some of us don't have the books -thanks very much:A

When I made the coleslaw I got grated cabbage everwhere:rolleyes: and made a right mess. I might have to invest in a food processor. I haven't got one yet, as my kitchen is so tiny and there's nowhere to put anything.

Went to weigh in and I maintained. Not sure how I managed as I had lots of wine and two (yes two) Indian takeaways over the weekend

We are on holiday next week, so will probably put a couple of pounds on, but when I get back, I need to be really strict and get back onto the diet as I want to lose at least another stone by DS wedding in September.
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D

We were told at WI last week that chickpeas were only free if eaten as they are out of the tin, one lady was roasting them and eating them like popcorn, we were told that doing that and blending them meant they need to be syned?

you could be right but i got the recipey from class out of there book , the thing is would you eat all that houmous at once , or like i do use it to spread on bread , please do ask at class.
The other thing i do is put 2 tbsp of houmous in a tub of quark and it makes a whole tub of houmous for the 2 tbsp is 3 syns, i buy the sainsbury roasted red pepper be good to yourself - yum, once yov're syn it its then free for you to go back to as much as you like .
So people have been put off by quark , but don't be , it takes the flavor overnight of what you put in it , mayo , horseraddish , nuttella , ect , peachy x

Yes, well done Charliesmum:T:T and hope you have a wonderful holiday:j:j

I mix quark with Helmans light, to get the mayo taste and make it go further, but as Peachey says, it will take on the taste of anything.
