    Hi all

I have a confession to make:o. I've come off the diet. Actually I fell off with a large bump and decided to stay off:eek:.

I'm struggling with eating on red days (I'm not a fan of things like bacon, sausage and egg and not used to eating much meat or eggs in general really, but I know I couldn't just stick to green. I'm missing my granary and seedy breads and feeling constipated and swollen all the time, despite lots of fruit and veg and drinking (I know this is not most people's experience). I think it's a great diet, just not for me. I've decided to go back to my high fibre, low fat diet (I've lost weight with this before) but I'm taking the best elements of SW with me, eating lots of fruit (especially superspeed) Muller lights, substituting loads of veggies for potatoes, using quark and no fat yoghurt for dressings and dips and drinking as much as possible.

Hope you don't mind if I stay on here with you all, as I could still use your support and I would miss you too:A.

Aw Gpuss, if it's not working for you, then you are right to change to something else. I am struggling, but only because I go over on my syns, I know that the diet works, I just struggle at nights when the wine and crisps call :o

I am on holiday in a couple of weeks, so if the worst happens and I put weight on, I'll have to get back onto it when I get back.

Shame we didn't realise how hard it would be to lose the weight, then we might have been more careful not to put it on in the first place.

Keep popping in and let us know how you are getting on xx

Sorry you're not enjoying green days (I love them) but if you feel bloated with it then it's no fun I agree. I will say though, that you may find that you're a little wheat intolerant and would fare better without the bread and white pasta.

Anyway, glad you're not going anywhere, as everyone being supportive is what this board is all about. It does rather look as though you're taking most of the SW green plan with you anyway as we're always pushing high fibre and low fat with lots of fruit, veg and water, so keep it up! :D
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I only eat wholemeal pasta, breads and rice (much tastier), but I've been having more pasta than I usually would, as well as eggs and much more meat than I like. Never thought about wheat intolerance before though.

Yes, whatever diet you're on, it's all filling up with different kinds of fibre, getting your nutrients and not too many calories. Thanks for not chucking me out and shouting 'Unclean! Unclean!':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Forget what happened over the weekend, draw a line and start again. A bad day (or even 2) can be put right if the rest of the week is good.

Don't try to cut back to make up for the 'naughties', just carry on with your full complement of free foods, healthy extras and syns.

You'll be fine - this is the best slimming plan in the world - it works I promise!

morning :hello: , i'm off to see iron man tomorrow , so i'm taking snack a jacks salt n vinger pop corn 2, 1/2 syns , 2 alpine light bars, and i'll buy a big diet coke when there , i'll also make sure i have something to eat before i go .

Tesco's have got snack n jacks on offer £1 a 6 bag all flavors , also bags of apples 75p ,oranges in net 75p , pullet of grapes 75p :T , peachy x

How weird that you mention Snack a Jacks. I came on to ask about them!!

We were out looking at sofas this afternoon and then decided to go on to the park and get some snacks. The kids & DH had crisps, I thought I'd be good and had a packet of Salt & vinegar Snack a Jacks. Came home and worked out the Syn value as I couldnt find them online and they come out as 6!! I'd've been better off having Wotsits like the kids, they were only 5.5

You mean their cola, lemonade, fizzy orage etc? I would have thought so

I purchased their diet Bitter Cranberry last week - it was very nice if a bit sweet, so I mixed it 50:50 with diet tonic water and it made it much nicer. Free as well!!

I bought a bottle of no added sugar lager shandy as I thought it would be nice if we had a barbecue this weekend (fat chance) :D
