Morning all
Hi Peachy, I can see you lurking somewhere
Well, I was really good yesterday (apart from the two glasses of wine), but I have the dentist this morning, so have made some soup for lunch in case I can't chew
Making chilli for dinner with a Homepride sauce, so will have to syn that. I have tried making the SW recipes, but DH doesn't really like them, so it's easier to use a mix and syn it
Tried the Weightwatchers Nacho Cheese flavoured tortillas and they were a nice change to Frenchfries - they are 4 syns a pack.
Hope everyone has a good day xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning all
I had a good day, too, apart from lack of exercise. Dog is confined to house with poorly paw and with me up to my eyes in work, I didn't leave the house all day
Will try and get out for a walk today. I've got one of those airwalker things upstairs, but it's airing clothes atm :rotfl:
I'm gonna have couscous with cucumber tomato and cottage cheeses for lunch, for a change - good luck all:j:smileyheagpuss0 -
Hi charliemum , hope everythings go's ok at dentist today -meaning it dosn't cost you to much and you don't need hardly anything done:rolleyes: , just off to bed .
How many syns is there in the homepride sauce ?.
Why don't you before you add sauce take you amount of the rest of the chilli and just put a quarter of the sauce to your mix and add passata or chopped tomatoes ,little chilli powder if you still need it .
So you only have to syn a little amount , and what about getting a jacket potatoe and h/b making potatoe wadges -yum, is it lean mince beef or quorn ?,if quorn (superspeed ) the wedges are free and so is rice -yum good luck today mate ,peachy x.
Gpuss give ruby kiss :kisses3: and don't forget to have breakfast and try mix up your lunches ,don't keep having same as are body get use to it , kick it up the bum , have beans on toast (superspeed) if you havn't got time ,omelett , and please drink lots , peachy x0 -

Hello All:wave:
I am feeling much more up-beat today, I had a good day yesterday and have done some baking this morning....Scones. They only work out to 4.5 Syns each, so I can have a couple too:)
I have cheated and jumped on the scales today. (i'm not getting my hopes up too much, as I know how much they can vary) I have lost that 1.5lb I put on last week, so just need to keep it off till monday now, my official WI.
I am going to have green days for the rest of the week and will do some red days next week. Somerfield have packs of bacon £2 bogof....not bad, I thought, so I will get a few and stick em in freezer for red days.
Yesterday in work was manic so I just chilled out last night and re-read through my SW Mags, looking at recipes and meal plan ideas. I have seen a few I might follow but will probably do a bit of tweaking to suit me better.
To any of you out there who are struggling a bit, don't panic it will pass. As it has for me. Just try and stick to the plan as best as possible, but if you go off track a bit it will not matter in the long run. The most important thing is you don't give up....

Peachey, great ideas about cutting down the syn value of the chilli, mind you, I think the whole jar is 14 syns, so if I only have 1/3rd and use my lean mince as a B extra, it won't be too bad, even my garlic bread is a healthy low fat one :A
Ooooh Skint, do you mean what I think you mean
Hi Gpuss, glad to see you are back on track - looks like you might get to the stone mark faster than me
Mel, well done on losing that weight again, that's what I did, so I don't panic too much if my weight goes up and down.
Peachey, I am going for a scale and polish, but my teeth are so sensitive that I have to have injections to numb the gums before he starts, or he would need a dentistYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
