Shaz, if that's what you fancy, have it. Just count the syns in the bread, it shouldn't be that many. That way you are sticking to the plan but having what you want (important when you're not well). I hope you feel better soon xxxx
thanks gpuss, i'll have a look in the directory and see how many sins were in the wholemeal breadcake that i had

  • Afternoon all,

I make up my cous cous in work, usually in a large mug, doesnt take long & even though the packet may say to add to to a pan of boiling water it cooks the same if you just add boiling water from the kettle to it & give it a stir!

dlb- chickpea "peanuts" may be yummy but sadly they arnt free.

Well the funeral went well but i ate sarnies made from white bread, a sasuage roll and a slice of cake, there was grapes & strawberries so i munched all of those but i was starving. Nevermind....back on it now!

Sorry mate she is wrong it's called tweeking the plan :wall: :wall: :wall: , its the same with the crips made from pasta sheets and coucous cake .
Years ago when i first started doing s/w they were all free apart from the coucous cake that was 3.5 syns the whole cake :j .
But the problem was people where eating say a cake a day on top of there diet and some loss but most found it harder, the same with crips and your peanuts .
You see you would'nt eat say 5 packets of pasta sheets cooked at once, but when you make the crips you could , and that would be on top of everything else you would eat .
When you next go to group ask your s/w consultant to go through this tweeking the plan or if i was you just phone s/w syn line i did to make sure , the lady on the phone went through it with me
