Morning
Got on the scales this morning (I know I shouldn't) and it looks like I might have lost the 2 lbs I put on last week :j
Mel, try standing in front of the mirror, and look at yourself. I still need to lost a couple of stones, but I can see my waist starting to emerge, and it's fantastic. I have spent years wearing elasticated waists and baggy tops, and I have had enough.
I might never be a size 10 again, but I'm aiming for a 14's by my son's wedding in September:TYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning all, it my wi tonight and I think the only way I may remotely stay the same is if I could weigh in a bikini!!:rotfl: :rotfl: That would be a plan of how to clear the room in 2 seconds flat!!
Good luck to everyone today, I have to be honest and say I really dont want to eat anything today cos I know I am going to feel even worse at weigh in:o
The fact that none of my clothes fit (well apart from one pair of fat day jeans and the odd smock top) should be enough shouldn't it but it isn't.
Walk yesterday eve was lovely and ankle seem to be ok, got another short one planned for tonight followed by some gardening.
fingers crossed , peachy x
Charlies mum your do it hun0 -
morning guys
i actually lost 1 1/2 this week, which is th emost ive managed in about 6 weeks, ive been loose 1, maintain, gain 1 for ages, reading the thread daily to motivate myself.
Redmel... i totally understand what you are saying about the complimants, i have got in a size smaller jeans and am very pleased with that ( but its made my motivation hit rock bottom cos i don't particuarly want to be another size smaller.. but i do want to be in a roomy size if that makes sense.. not a just in size) helped this week that my loverly new jeans have started to get tight so am trying to be on track again
what i need is to get the chocolate out of my system, im such a choc addict i have to get withdrawals from it for a few days to stop me eating it.. so my aim this week is no chocolate
keep up the good work everyone
so far 1 day with out chocolate0 -
Well done cocoluvsmummy. Good luck with the chocolate - totally my addiction too!0

sorry hun its not free on red day , because of beans ,potatoes , peas ,your would have to syn them or use you h/b on two of them
.
The quorn is free on both days and on red you could put on carrot& sweed mash and sprinkle on some cheese h/a , add cabbiage , collie , broc to the side of the plate - yum0 -
Thank you everyone for your comments yesterday and today about the quorn shep pie, im still trying to get the hang of this lol. I have only had 2 red days as i find i can eat more of what i like on green days.
It was yummy though and must admit i am going to try topping it with just mashed swede next time the flavour was lovley and a nice change from mash!
I curb my sweet tooth with toffee mullerlights and the odd small bag of maltesers, and love mug shots as a snack or light lunch on green days. Roasted chick peas with garlic salt are good to, makes me feel like im eatting peanuts!
I find i can go mon-thursday without any syns then at the weekend start to `need` my syns via wine and the odd ice lolly, the fruitini lollys are on offer at the minute at Mr T`s and are only 2.5 syns each.
I havent weighed myself since WI but i so hope i make the 1lb loss to give me my half stone, i think i will be really upset if i dont .Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
Well my wi this morning and I've gained 3lbs:eek: since last week (and I was doing so well too) I knew it would be bad, and I deserve it as I've been rubbish:mad: I've got so many stones to lose, I can't believe I do this to myself, I just lose and gain the same weight over and over.
The planned takeaway for tomorrow night is out. I'll do sw chips instead. I've got to get back to where I was. Good job I'm on here as all your posts keep me going.
Got a drink on my desk, Peachey:smileyheagpuss0 -

My last club held a 'weigh n go' the day after Boxing Day one year and one girl had been so good over Xmas as she was desperate to hit her target on this day. It was a VERY cold church hall and she stripped her jeans off to weigh in and hit her target!
Trouble is if I took everything off I'd have ne excuse for the week after!
Was pretty good last night. Ate well all day then had the healthiest pasta I could find at the pub (still had sauce but nowt I could do) with Diet Coke. Then OH and I went to a have-a-go archery session so no eating/picking - I found I have a hidden talent! 16 arrows and hit the gold bullseye 13 times - the guy didn't believe I'd never done it before as he didn't need to tell me how to hold anything - just a few pointers on finding (one of) my chin with the bow string! :T
Had beans and egg for brekkie today with Diet Coke and Alpen bar so far. Got mug shots for lunch (two if I get extra hungry!) and fruit.
Hows everyone? Keep your chin up Mel - it'll happen. I've had a bad few weeks but just feel I'm getting back onto it this week!
Green Tea speeds up your metabolism. The one with lemon is moer drinkable but my can here at works been here since July  Not overly keen on it but I should try one cuop a day at least!0 -
Gpuss, looks like we have both hit the 10 lbs blip - if you look at my signature you will see that I did almost exactly the same  . In the past, I have lost 4 lbs in a week, so just think you have only put yourself back a week, and you will soon get it off again. As long as you enjoyed whatever you ate / drank, it was probably worth it.
Skint, well done on the archery, perhaps you were Robin Hood in a previous lifeYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

Thanks Charliesmum:A, you're right. I think if we can just go for it this week and next, and maybe get near the stone mark, we'll feel better. Let's do it!!
Skintcatt of Sherwood, I'm very impressed:T:T:T:T:smileyheagpuss0
