morning all, feeling bit down full of cold, and got on scales, and found that i had lost the few pounds i had gained last week while on holiday so that cheared me up.
trouble is my throat so sore, that i dont feel like eating much, and that prob how i've lost so much this week
my prob is i get to 13 6 which i am now, then gain one week and lose the next and never get any further.
was having a green day today
had weetabix and banana for breakie, and having
savoury rice, salad, and skinless chicken for tea
trouble is i'm stuck for lunch, was going to have a salad but don't fancy it
want comfort food with cold, and fancy a banana sandwhich, would having three healthy b's just this once hurt?, or maybe i could count the syns in bread?

I hit a 12lb blip which I couldn't seem to get past - then I did then I'm back there :rolleyes: I thought you ony plateaued when you got near target????! I've got 3.5stone to go yet! :rotfl:0 -

Shaz, if that's what you fancy, have it. Just count the syns in the bread, it shouldn't be that many. That way you are sticking to the plan but having what you want (important when you're not well). I hope you feel better soon xxxx:smileyheagpuss0 -
I weighed in at class last night and put on 3 pounds :eek: Not a total shock as I have had two family functions and I have also been suffering with severe toothache so I have been drinking brandy by the glassful plus taking endless painkillers and not sticking to the plan properly as I have been bringing treats to work but then have been eating them rather than ignoring them !! so syn overload!!
Anyway back on track this week (apart from a meal out at a curry house tomorrow and before you ask I will be having what I want!!!) so looking for some ideas to try some new things and help keep me motivated and get this weight back off.
I know it is a stupid question but can I cook cous cous the night before and then eat for my lunch the following day. I presume I would need to keep it in the fridge. I have some of the ainsley harriet packets and wondered what I could add to them to make it a more substantial lunch? any suggestions?
Also has anyone seen the duck recipe in the current issue of SW mag and where is the best place to buy duck breasts that are sw friendly? I have never cooked with duck before so is it like chicken - you have to cook it completely through unlike steak which you have pink or well cooked? I have seen some duck breasts in my local sainsurys but they have the skin on and I presume would need to take this off or cook the duck with it on but not eat the skin?

ive decided to try and do some sit ups each morning.. i know i wont be able to do lots so im going to start with 15 in the morning.. anyone want to join in ?slimmimg world weight loss 6lbs

I've made the AH cous cous from the packets and put it in the fridge but i don't think it tastes right like this. It says on the packet eat straight away but not sure about other brands/plain cous cous??0 -

My OH's sit up bar thing is in the lounge as I told him 'if you put it where I can see it I will use it'. It's been there a month and I haven't so much as touched it yet! :rolleyes: Must do! I will start next month when I change jobs as I will have more time in the morning and evening to do this.0 -

I have been making a effort this week to use my air walker at least once a day and staying on until i have done 2000 steps or 15 mins which ever comes first!
