  • Anyhow, can i just ask can i really have 2 Alpen light bars as a heb - all flavours, even the choc and orange one or am i pushing my luck here?.

    x

Yes as far as i know, all flavours are 2 for a healthy extra B :j

I am determined to make this weekend the first one i have stuck to the plan.

So far have had bran flakes and milk and a cuppa tea so thats 1 HEB + 1HEA down already.

Plan for the rest of the day:

    lunch - humous salad (HEB)
dinner - kids are having pizza  but i am going to make the vegetable pad thai from the magazine (free on green) & have a big plate for myself + get them to try it to see if they like it.

snacks - fruit and yoghurt :A (has anyone else found they genuinely love this?!? I really do, mmmmmmm i have low fat greek natural yoghurt on top of pineapple/raspberries/blackberries etc. costs a fortune but soooo yummy:D )

    Rice Pudding

    1 pint cold water
    ½ mug pudding rice
    Splenda to taste
    Nutmeg (optional)
    2 tbsp vanilla essence (optional)
    Muller Light Vanilla Yoghurt.

Put 1 pint cold water into saucepan. Add the pudding rice and cook for about 15/20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool down - at this stage you can use the optional items - when it is really cold, add one Muller light Vanilla Yoghurt.

Once this is cold and you add the muller, do you then re-heat it??? or would it curdle?

    Thanks
  • Does anyone understand the 'Smart Syns' they talk about in there? They're mentioned in the Tesco book as well (also very confusing, same set-up!) and I just don't get what smart syns are. Cheers!

    Anyone?! Any ideas welcome!

    TAKE AWAYS

What takeaways can you all recommend that are low syn / syn free especially on a green day?

    I like:
KFC: diet coke, salad, bbq beans, corn on the cob (all free on green)
CARIBBEAN RESTAURANT: rice 'n' peas + yam (all free on green)
KEBAB SHOP: chicken shish and salad (all free on red)

Welcome back tenmah, and great going on the weight loss:T:T:T:T:T:T

Just back from Morrissons but all Alpen lights sold out, as they're on offer! So will have to try Tesco...

Looking forward to the beef kofta for tea :p
