    Hi There.

I paid a website to get an unlocking code for K800i and it gave me the following:

#1547#6485 (i've had tried contacting the website for help and have had no response)

The problem is when I try and enter it the phone wont let me enter the '#' character. It just displays the message 'text too short'. Has anyone got any ideas how i can successfully enter this into my phone and espaecially enter the # character?

    Thanks

Thats not a proper unlock code for a K800i. The proper unlock codes for the K800i are entered after using the joystick and * to get to the locks menu. The unlock code is all numbers and there should be no # in it.

They may have riped you off. Ask you credit card company for a chargeback.

I have a Samsung SGH-C300 locked to Orange UK. I need it unlocked.
    IMEI: 353156/01/914586/4

Buy an unlock clip from ebay (£5 or £6), use it then sell it on.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll see what I can do about the chargeback. For everyone's future reference the website was https://www.instantmobileunlock.co.uk.
  • Dave,

I had a look at their help section and they do state the correct was to get to the menu to input the code but the code you mentioned above is not an unlock code.

I have had a few pucca unlock codes for SE phones and they are usually long numbers.

    Use at your own risk.

You could try the software at following location if you have the USB cable with the phone. Install the usb driver for you phone then load up the software. connect it to your pc via the usb cable. select the model and com port and click unlock. DO NOT CLICK ANY OTHER BUTTON !

I used it to unlock a few E900's wthout any problem. You can unlock over 300 samsung phones with this software.

    NOT ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THIS?
  • First of all, thank you very much for your reply.

Unfortunately I wasn't supplied with a usb cable with the phone, is there anything else I can try short of it costing me a tenner to get a dodgy bloke on a market stall to do it?
Thanks very much for your help,
    Joe

    Hi There

I have a Sony Ericsson W810i on O2 that I'd like to unlock so I can use it with a BLYK SIM, can anyone advise how to go about unlocking?

So far I've received the PAC code from O2, but never done anything like this before so really at a loss as to what to do next.

    thanks

If you are not confident then take it to a shop but it is pretty easy to do.

The following guide explains everything . Please make sure your phone is CID 49 and red (the guide shows you how) as it will not work on a CID 50 phone. Before you do any flashing backup your GDFS.

Any problems feel free to ask.
