Log into your Virgin account and send them an email requesting the unlock code.

It's not possible by free code and also quite difficult even if you have the correct equipment.

this is the first time I have used this site and am struggling to find my way round. I have a Motorola L6 that needs unblocking - I have the IMEI number and it is locked to Orange. I have an O2 sim card. Orange say they need my orange contract phone number to unblock and the sites Martin recommends only seem to do other networks - mainly Nokia.

I have been ripped off by www.unlocksearch.com who charged me to tell me the same info as Martin and am wary to part with more money for a service I am not getting. can anyone help?

Have tried a ripoff site www.UnlockSearch.com (DON'T use this site) which gives the same info as Martin but charges £2.99 and doesn't give a code.

So don't know what to do now as reluctant to part with more money......

hi,

you can get motorola codes but there are not free, you would look to pay between £5-£15 usually about £10, any less than £5 and i very much doubt its legit/will work. the problem however is that at present the motorola server is down.

probably easiest to take it to a shop and pay about the same for a direct unlock.
