...... why didn't you approach the CS desk or Manager on your next visit and inform them of this? why carry on using the vouchers knowing you had been warned by the manager but not giving him the info you had so that he had a chance to look into it and revise his policies?....

**Didnt think of it, I just decided not to go to selfservice checkouts again and go to ordinary checkouts. Looking back, I probably should have spoken to the manager and pointed out what HO had said. I wouldnt be in the position that I'm in now.

...why would the manager not believe you had your daughter with you? surely she was at your side when they approached you at the checkout? they are 6 and 4, I'd let £1000 worth of shopping disappear before I let my toddlers out of my sight!

I dont know why but they didnt look like they believed me. I never let them out of my sight and this is something that I have tortured myself over. Don't remind me, i feel bad enough as it is that she had gone out of my sight.

Greed Almond - haven't you posted on another thread about how you are availing of the points offer on the Birds Eye Beef - maybe soon you will have enough points to surpass Igloo!

I know Igloo from past experience, what its like when one of your children disappear from sight, the number of times you just take your eye of them to talk to the cashier or pack your bags. My stomach would do cartwheels. Then afterwards I would have to push the trolley laden with shopping and herd my two thru the car park safely - absolute nightmare.

I just stopped for a coffee in a lay by cafe, and happened to park behind a tesco lorry (a pretty dirty one at that!)

So before going into the cafe, I wrote:-

    "IGLOO IS INNOCENT!"

on the backdoor!! (in the dirt that is!!!)

Never know, it could start a trend!!!!!!

    Good Luck girl!!! :T :T

Which will mean £6 in clubcard vouchers which Almond can give to the next pensioner they see doing their shopping.

My aunt hasnt been well and this is the first time I'd shopped for her.

It wasnt my shopping so I didnt think of using coupons. It might sound daft but I just didnt think of it.

if you think I'm "tight" for not thinking of it then sorry.

Clubcard? She's never been to Tescos in her 85 years so if you think I should have gotten her one to give her her 11 points then there you go.

my gran is 85 and if i shop for her she'd hate for me to use my coupons unless she'd bought the product. it would confuse her, she would prefer for everything to be as simple and straightforward on the reciept as it would be if she was shopping for herself. i also wouldn't be using my clubcard (and no she doesn't have one), again because it would confuse her. ignore these personal attacks *HUGS*
