    Evening all

Just a quick post before I take DS swimming. Work was busy as usual but the time goes so quick. Had egg, chips and beans for tea. It's funny how something so simple can make you feel so happy:D .

Had a quick look at my allotment whilst in the park. The weedkiller has realy done the job so I shall rotavate it when I have some time (ha!ha!).

Hugs to all who want one. Have a good night all.

    hello there

ironing has been interupted by a horrible freaky deep-breathing phone-call. When I realised I just said "I will be reporting this phonecall to the police, thank you for calling!"

    quote]

r.mac i had one of these phone calls at work last week, they are horrible, just console yourself with the fact that 'he' rang a completely random number and just happened to get you, its nothing personal, he is just a sad git, who gets his kicks from sitting in his sad lonely house and ringing strangers

    Hugs to you xx

Pen pen congrats on your 4000 posts :T  :j xx

Hi everyone, not had time to catch up woth today-I did see some of yesterdays though...
((((((((((smokey and family)))))))))) words cannot convey... prayers and thoughts are with you though.
I rang the hospital today to ask if there is anything i should be doing with/for DD until we get the results. The receptionist said 'I was just going to ring you, bring her in tomorrow!!!!!' so now I'm terrified that it must be v serious if they want her in so soon. There isn't even a spare appointment. The secretary said you might have a bit of a wait but he wants to see you to discuss the results with you... So I've been a bit teary this afternoon. guess it all seems a bit trivial compared to what smoky must be going through...
So we'll just have to wait and see. (((hugs))) to all who need or want one.

twink - that is just awful - I'm so sorry. I am exdirectory but it turns out after investigation that we have been allocated an ex-business number for the local supermarket and our number is plastered all over lots of internet sites! (can't tell you which supermarket as it is possible to work out our phone number!)

Oh well.....BT were very helpful and I have refrained from calling the police (they have better things to deal with) and so we are changing our number. will effect braodband, but hopefully not for too long a time :D

On the plus side - I got an A for a recent exam (found out this afternoon) and to celebrate made a cheesecake which is in the fridge chilling for pudding. Might even dig out a bottle of vino to accompany it. OS cheese and wine :D

I have spent the afternoon working on cards....all finished and ready to go.....

Just had supper, cauli and brocc gratin with jacket spuds and the last of the mixed fruit crumble and the end of a bottle of rose..........

I have just sat down to work out my menu plan for Arpil and also for the first 2 weeks of May when we will be in France on holiday....how much am I looking forward to that!!!!! I will take as much as I can with me so we can spend our money in the shops and markets to bring home. The part of France we are going to is not one we have visted before, a long journey 650 miles from Calais, but hopefully the weather will be good and we will have a good time.

I am slowly getting used to using Windows Vista, I still like XP better, but thats life. I need to do some surfing to see where the markets are whilst we are away. We hope to make a day trip to th walled city of Carcasonne, will try and link it with the local market.

My friend came round for a cuppa and a free hot cross bun, we both got a free packet at Aldi yesterday. I put mine in the freezer...........

I also washed the kitchen floor, it was rather scruffy, looks better now, till the next time!!!! Also did a laod of white washing, dried and put away.............

OH has just brought me in a cuppa, so better go. Another late night a 'Frost' on ITV3 tonight, so bed after midnight.
