brought Host for website but how to work email on Horde?

    I've tried sending from my yahoo and work email addresses to the website/horde but they bounce back saying they have given up!
    then I got this one...
    There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator.
    <PDC1.myworkemailaddress.local #5.5.0 smtp;550 <mywebsite/hordeaddress.co.uk>: invalid address>

    the email that I sent from the website/horde hasn't failed - or at least nothing has bounced back but I've not received anything in my yahoo or work account.

    now at Uni as a Mature student -update: now has a First Class BA!

    I guess it could be problem with the 3ix server or it could just be yahoo don't like your host!

    I've pm'd you a email addy, if you're happy to then send me an email from the address using webmail and I'll reply if it arrives ok.

    Thanks for your help. (not sure why it wouldn't like yahoo though. unless it is 3ix and the've missed something but as I'm new it could be me!)

    got it... I've sent it and just realised that horde doesn't have an 'outbox' but there is nothing showing that it hasn't sent!

    I see it quotes 1&1

    Is your domain registered with 1&1?

    If so check the the MX records are correct as it looks like email is being directed to 1&1 for your domain and they have no such email address on your account.

    I think incoming email is being routed to the wrong host.
