Hi to all you lovely OS'ers.I read your thread every day,and have got to know most of you through reading the thread, and so I am taking the plunge and joining in.Hope this is ok.:j :j
I only have little old me to look after along with my 2 gorg dogs, as my DD20 is now living with her bf.:T :T Yippeeeeeeeee:rotfl: :rotfl: I miss her like mad really:o
I am trying to cut back on the silly amount I spend, as well as going gradually more OS as the weeks go on.I have started off by buying Stardrops, white vinegar and microfibre cloths.Well it's a start anyway;)
I work as a supply teacher, so some weeks have tons of work and others I have none.Therefore I have to get more disciplined about my spending habits, or else i'll be snookered:rolleyes:
Anyway that's all I can think to write today, as I am exhausted after work:D

Managed to stay at work all day today!! Have been revising some training notes, in advance of presenting it tomorrow. Really good day actually. The lass I was working with will be my manager from Monday, so I think its going to be a good team to work in.

Hugs to all who want or need them - brain fog on so can't remember what I've just read. (Darned antibiotics..)

He's just had the results of his final exam - passed with credit :T He's not technically qualified yet cos he still has a couple of practical things to do but cos his marks are so high, he'll be qualified even if he does really badly over the next few weeks so well done, love mum :dance: _party_ :j :T

One of the lads in the workshop hit another over the head with a drill today, so he punched him back and split his face open, as he fell he hit the other side of his face on the workbench and split it open then was knocked out when he hit the floor :eek:

My card supplies turned up today :T

I have an abcess, luckily I can see it cos it's near the surface of my gum so I popped it and the pain is slowly going now

Hello everyone,

I have now caught ds's respiratory infection, and it hurts. I just wanted to let you know that I have been to my slimming class tonight and I am slimmer of the week. A triumph of OS and moneysaving I guess as a lot of the talk is about what packets of convenience food is good to use.

I did come away with a large bag of fruit (yum) and a large bag of convenience food (mostly yuk) as my prize, but MIL has just come back off holiday and is likely to be short of cash, so I've just made her a food hamper with the stuff I don't want or like and some fruit too.

Glad I cheered you up - I need it! Folk said kitchen refurb stressful and I now know what they mean! I am so disorientated!

Glad kids have got their chosen schools - very important. What is going on here re school and behaviour as just off the wall. Glad my two past that.
