    Morning all.

Hope all are well and FWIW, my dear old mum's youngest son is definitely on better form today. Possibly not :j, but getting towards :D . I had a reasonable night's sleep after watching Jason and the Argonauts on dvd. Maybe the greatest film ever made? Anyroadup, it's my day off, the sun is shining and there's not a cloud in the sky and I have lots to do. Having "sucessfully" done the Te$co run yesterday, it's all uphill from now on  I've got some modifications to do in the motorhome, old bank accounts to close, take the dogs out for a long walk in the forest and carry on sorting.

Thanks for all your kind comments last night, they're much appreciated and I'll try not to whinge too much if I can help it.

    Morning Everyone
Made it this morning, don't know cannot seem to get a routine together since we've come home, though I have been trying to get this PC built up with all my bits, as it was new just before Xmas and then had the kitchen/bedroom move and so didn't get it "me'd". Getting it there slowly.
Have a card for a BHS 20% day today, so may pop in and see what I can find. Decided I wanted a pair of cream cords or thick twill to go with my thick padded jacket, as it could be cool in Belgium/Holland in April, but could I find any yesterday - all thin linen trousers for summer - GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrh! May pop into Boots as have vouchers, coupons and points, must do a check on the grabit board to see how I can best use them. May call round at Matalan re the cords and anything else I see. Need some diesel in the car so just working out what I can spend £50 on at Tesco to get the voucher, needs to be store cupboard/freezer I think. - Sounds like an expensive day:eek:

Charlie's-Mum - Just keep your fingers crossed for no rain, you can wrap up against the cold, but rain isn't good.
catznine & DD, tru, lyndseyann, SOMO1, smoky, Pen-pin (((((hugs))) to you and anyone else who'd like one.
    Pen-Pen - enjoy York, you don't have a lasso then?:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Morning all,

Somo1 and Tru, I hope you both feel better soon.
Lyndseyann, You must be really worried about your nephew, I hope you hear something soon.
Smokybabe, I haven’t seen you post for a few days….I’m hoping and praying that no news is good news xx
Catznine, that’s shocking about your dd, although I am so glad that she has an attitude that means she’s safe and well.
Aussie, good to see you’re back in one piece after your night out….[STRIKE]sounds like you needed time out to recover from your hangover[/STRIKE] pc problems? hmmmm, how awful for you.
Haribo, I don’t know where you got your condoms from and I don’t think I want to know _pale_ , but they certainly weren’t from me! :D

It's been ages since I've been organised enough in the morning to post on the daily. :o

Usual morning here…Mr Pink has taken the older two to catch their buses and ds2 is getting ready for school at a snails pace.

Plans for today are to get ds2 off to school without getting cross with him for being dead slow and stop. Afterwards I’ll pop into the office for a while to pick up some things (and hopefully have a coffee, and a gossip while I’m there) and then come home to sort out the mess they’ve all left behind. At some stage today I’d like to nip down to the local [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] antique shop to have a root around. Sometimes they have some lovely bits and pieces for next to nothing.

This afternoon will be homework and making a casserole for tea. Then the younger Pinks are all off to Scouts/Beavers and I’m off out to work.

I hope you all have a good day.

Well, this is just about it! I am at home today awaiting delivery of the kitchen units. Maybe if the day heats up a bit I might even cut the grass. It doesn't seem to have stopped growing over the winter and it is taking away the look from my lovely spring flowering bulbs and pots.

Sorry a few of you seem to be a bit under the weather with colds.

Hope to get back to you all later. Had better jump in the shower so I don't greet the delivery man in my goonie.

    Love to all

If I'd any tears left in me, that would've brought them out but as I haven't, I'll settle for :T :A

  • Morning guys!!

Sorry for not posting for a few days. Been busy with one thing and another (mostly hungover from a very messy night out on Sat! :rotfl:)

Catch up of my weekend, went out for my friends birthday meal on the Friday, was really nice food and had a bit of entertainment in the form of a man in the restuarant getting down on his knee and proposing to his girlfriend! Poor girl was so embarrashed, but when she said yes the whole restuarant was clapping and going mad! :rotfl:

Saturday night, was my night out clubbing to celebrate my unemployment! lol shame I can't remember much of it, drink a little too much me thinks :o

Sunday was spent relaxing due to the fact I had a huge hangover and it was mothers day, so i used that excuse too lol

Monday I went for an interview for a job at a letting agents, but the lady who interviewed me wasn't exactly welcoming, she didn't smile once, which put me off and made me feel uncomfortable, so the interview didn't go that wel.. Didn't hear anything afterwards so don't think I got it. But kinda glad as don't think I would wanna work for someone that miserable all the time :rotfl:

Yesterday I went for another interview this time working as an admin assitant at an insurance assessors. Really nice little business, really nice people, went in they showed me what to do and that was pretty much it and gave me the job!
So i am now not jobless anymore :j I start next week, doing a few weeks training, then my proper hours will be 9 - 5 Thurs and Fri, so I get the rest of the week to myself which is great!!

    Todays plans are:

Shower and get dressed in min
Hoover, wash up and hang washing out before I go out
    Young mums group at 10.30
    Pick youngest DS from nursery
Tidy kids room ( I seem to be doing this everyday )
    Mop floors
    Clean bathroom
    Sort washing
Enter some competitions on the comp board

Dinner today is bangers and mash

Sorry for the long post, must learn to shorten it down lol

Hugs to all, bye for now, Hels xxx

They've gone, yogurt in, BM and WM on, peace and quiet! :T Started to do a sort out in the freezer.

HAVE to share this with you LOL! :rotfl:

I said I have to spruce spare room today for wrinklies...

I just remembered.... I had a dream after the weekend... DD's B/f slept in spare room last weekend and when my parents got into the bed it was full of condom wrappers _pale_                  I suppose it was a subconscious reminder that I have to change the sheets and towels!

Better do a really good check of the room I guess!!!! :rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
Puppy walked and now very soggy! will have to towel her dry and then pop her into conservatory while I head off to church.

Veg box delivered and still no onions  been a month now so will have to go out and buy some, do have some cauliflower so will make cauliflower cheese with tonights gammon to cheer dd up. Also have the tiniest khol rabi and not sure what to do with that! Rest of the box was carrots, potatoes, oranges, mandarins, bananas and parsnips.

Right must hurry up and get on my way!

  • Morning all :)

(((hugs))) to Smoky, Lindsay, Catznine and anyone else who needs them

Off to the dentist in a minute for a check up, my gums have gone all funny in the past few weeks, think its to do with being pregnant as i was the same with DD. Then back home to clean the oven (yes i know i said i was doing it yesterday but i did some ironing instead - honest!) and have a general tidy round. Need to get the hoover downstairs so i'll wait until a big strong man comes along the street and get him to carry it downstairs for me as i can't lift.

Will be back later on :) Have a good day all
