    Hi Diane,

Good to hear from you. Sounds like you have settled now. That transition between properties was always going to be tough...

I`m dreading ours already. Hope to move end April but yet to be confirmed. Just not convinced that just stopping paying mtge is right thing to do. I have serious decision to make!!

Anyway good luck in your new home...

    Hi Angel
I know it is hard giving up your home we have had to keep going back to finish emptying things and checking post it is hard and I cry every time I go up but when you are not there it seems easier. Everyone on here said that it would things would get better once we moved and it is true. All I can say is that although it dosnt seem like it was our best move we made it will be in the end. As far as your mortgage is concerned we have stopped paying and are letting the OR deal with it when we go BR I hadnt informed them or the SL loan but they rung us today adn OH informed them that we had moved out and that we are going BR so it will be dealt with by the OR. All i can say is I rung the CCCs and asked their advice about informing the mortgage about our situation as they told me I didnt have to but I could if I wanted. I was also told by them to stop paying mortgage SL and unsecured. Try not to worry too much a month ago I was exactly like you and now I feel I am getting on top of things although there is a lot more trouble to come. One step at a time. Take care

    Love Diane

    Hi all
Got a question I am being retired from work due to ill health and I have applied for my pension. I will receive a lump sum plus a yearly salary, does anyone know if the BR can touch my lump sum and/or my yearly pension. Thanks
