  • :T great news.

One less thing to worry about.
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

Hi - just seen your qeustions re renting - we have an iva and are gonna have to go bankrupt very soon. Husband relocated 6 months ago and had trouble renting some houses. HOwever, we paid 6 months up front for the first tenancy agreement and are now paying the landlord privately each month and there is no problem. If you have to stick with the agent managing it then every 6 monthys you will need upfront money for the next 6 months if you get my drift. Hope this helps
  • Hi,

HiAll, l hope you dont mind me poking my nose in! but a few years ago my mum and Dad did'nt go bankrupt but my Dad lost his job and he was too old to find another, and the threat of losing their house hung over him,he was so worried about letting my mum down etc so he just told me and OH, the wierd thing is we all had sleepless nights over it until the letter came to repossess, in a funny way it was like a weight had been lifted, mum was ok about it and was just glad that everyone were still together. They have been happily renting ever since. lt's easy to say l know, but there's lots of help, and chatting on this site really helps people, l wish my dad had known about it.;)

Hi there we have passed all credit checks for rented accom and are moving in 26th March yipee!!! We re going to put our house up for sale and stop paying mortgage SL unsecured loans. If house dosnt sell then they will reposs anyway. Am I right in thinking that when the house goes our SL becomes unsecured? If so then we might not have to go BR as we will try and offer token payments to creditors. Some of our loan companies have accepted token payments so we hope the rest do. I do not know if we are doing the right thing with reagrds to unsecured debt so if anyone has any advice it would be helpful thank you;)
  • Hi, Really pleased on the house front. Not sure about the SL sorry.
Hope you don't have to go BR. All the best for your future

Hi well only a few more days and we move. Dont know how I feel apart from very down not sure made right decision but cant see another way out of this mess. My docs put my antidepressants up dont seem to make me feel much better. Stopped paying mortgage,SL and unsecured will sort them out when moved one step at a time I think. Sometimes I think I would be better off dead at least the SL would have paid out on the PPI if I would have died dont know why I said that just how I feel. Hope things get better I dont want to feel like this anymore. Keep you posted:confused:

    Hi Dialysis,

Just wanted to say `hello` & good luck with the move. My situation is `up in the air` don`t know what to do & feeling that BR will just get it all over & done with so I don`t have to go through this anymore!!

I am just at application stage with rented & intend as you have done to move & stop paying mtge & SL then ring & hand back keys so need to check implications here.

Good luck with move...Easter spent packing & contemplating that next positive step will make you feel like that `new begining` is here!!

    Lots of hugs, Angelxxx
