            Hi Angel
Good luck with your application we were worried about ours as we have defaults but everything came back and we didnt even have to pay six months up front. Dont know about BR wether we will do it or not we are going to wait and see what S**t we have to put up with from the SL company. We will not get enough back to pay off SL so there will be shortfall dont jknow anythiong about that. I am sorry to hear you are going through same I know though it is nice to talk to someone experiencing the same and it does help. keep me posted.
I send you hugs

I'm pleased you passed your credit check. Good luck with your rented accommodation. I hope you're very happy there. Regarding all your other debt. Is it really worth struggling to pay it? How long will your creditors allow token payments? Only two of my many creditors accepted my offer of token payment and it was only for a 6 month period. That 6 months has come and gone. All the other creditors just ignored my letter.

            Hi fiveyearplan
Thanks for your advice I know what you are saying we have wrote to three of our creditors already and had replies from two only accepting our token payments for a period. The others have not even acknowledged our letters. I suppose we were just trying to avoid going BR but I think in the end we will have to. Have you gone BR? And are you in rented?

I'm not BR yet but have been contemplating it since last June. Thats also when I stopped paying creditors! My mortgage is one month behind so we are hoping to keep our house. We don't have much equity in it and rented accommodation in the area is the same or more so I don't see how we'd be better off to rent. I will definitely be going BR before the end of this tax year.

            Hi
Just a question which I hope someone will be able to amswer. We are going to go BR after we move into our rented property and let the OR deal with our house, mortgage and SL. The thing is when I fill out the BR forms, do they ask for expenditure and if so do I only put my rent and bills for my rented home or do I put my mortgage SL and unsecured debts even though I am not paying for them? Also sorry another question will the OR tell my landlord I am BR as I will be already occuping the property, Hope not:eek:
Thanks

Hi,
You fill in your income and expenditure as it will be when you go BR, so no mortgage, loan and debt repayments, but list your rent, bills, food shopping etc.... When you've done it post it on here and let us check it out for you to make sure you've listed everything
From my experince, the OR told me he had no intention of telling my LL and that they only do tell if you're in arrears. However, don't take this as gospel because many others have been told that they have to tell the LLs, regardless of arrears or not
I did send my OR a letter basically begging and pleading with him NOT to tell; I don't know if it helped or not, but it might be worth a go. I did have to provide him with a copy of my tenency agreement too, to prove the amount of rent I'd put on my I&E I guess.
HTH
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that
