Ben500 and all other Tesco savers - would it be worth starting an Asda wrong prices thread?

I really can't see any reason why not.

is the Asda one still policy? as the signs have gone from our local Asda and we were just given the difference back by CS

perhaps someone can confirm this a definate policy? It's going to be a bit pointless having a thread about Asda misprices if you don't get the gift card :)

The most they can actually require of you is your signature and that for internal purposes only to deter dishonesty from their own staff and perhaps satisfy the inland revenue to justify rebate at audit. And in any event who's to say you aren't the real Mickey Mouse I've never met him without his suit on or at least if I have I was not aware of it at the time.

I think I'm going to put a different name down next time, or refuse - am I within my rights to refuse it or will they deny the refund if I don't give the name and address?

I've only done this once so far but I don't like the way they take details

Bacon joint price per kilo I think it was £3.44 on pack and £3.42 on shelf. Picked up 2. Refund back and got to keep them but asked me to write my name and address down. Wasn't amused at that but did it anyway.

I also got 2 of these at chorley tesco today they did not ask for my name - one is in the oven right now

Personally I simply refuse, if you are going to provide a name it would probably be better in the long run to provide a genuine one as to provide a false one could and almost certainly would be interpreted as some kind of admission of guilt. If your not doing anything wrong why lie? would be the cry and no amount of reasoning about why you had done so would convince anyone who chose to view it this way.

I got four of these today. Also got 3 packs of weightwatchers mature cheddar. My whole family were delighted. :j
