Every time I have returned items to Argos they have asked for my address - it seems to be standard practice at many shops these days. I don't know what happens if you refuse but I expect some staff may consider it suspicious.0

glad to see this thread grow and how many have taken advantage of these misprices. tesco are in the wrong - remember that if you ever feel guilty. they have this policy for a reason - customer confidence and to stop fines from trading standards. married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090

Managed to pick up 2 of the gammon joints today and 2 packs of bacon although i had a bit of an argument with the cs lady. She refused to accept that i was overcharged, then removed the shelf tickets before calling her manager so there was no evidence. I clearly stated the tickets had been removed and that i wanted to see them so we could find out who was right and who was in the wrong. Of course tickets never re-appeared. Was eventually offered a couple of pound as a good will gesture (pfff) i happily pointed out their policy sign which was in big bold writing behind the desk and said i was even willing to pone head office to discuss the matter further. Eventually got full refund
Will have to pop back later and get refund on my brie as i noticed that was overpriced too. Shame they had moved all the chicken that was incorectly priced and had it as special offer now instead.0 -
The bacon i picked up was different to what others have been getting. These are 4x200g packs of smoked bacon advertised on shelf at £3.78 but the packs say £4.42
Hope you find some at your locals too.0 -

Nice spot I was running out. Although I would point out these packs of bacon are best grilled as they are so full of water if you put them in the frying pan they just boil !
A rip off if full price but a bargain free.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
I hope any of you frequenting other supermarkets are checking the details more carefully now too.
Don't forget Asda's policy that they will give you a £2 gift card if you are overcharged and that one's per item! So find a nice little overcharge for an item under £2 and fill your trolley!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
is the Asda one still policy? as the signs have gone from our local Asda and we were just given the difference back by CS0
