Yorkshire puddings are good, rather small compared to branded but you can just have 2. 49p for 15.
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.

I used to think that but then for the last two years we have been on a tighter budget because of me not working all the time............I think you have to pick and choose as well............I can get by with lots of basics or Sainsburys own label stuff now and have even converted him indoors who was a brand label snob............

My daughter works for Sainsburys too so we get staff discount on the weekly shop too...........

I've noticed that the price of Basics produce seems to go up by a few pence every week now.
  • The basics part baked rolls are fab for 39p for two. We have them with our left over roast chicken in with lettuce and tomato, really nice.

The tinned Chicken Curry is very mild, with lots of veg filling it out, Ok for a quick cheap snack with some basics rice.
