I believe it's around 37.5% proof, think there are several branded gins around the same percentage. Nothing wrong with it, does the job. (Although Sainsbury's regular own brand is my personal favourite: it has a lovely really strong 'medicinal' aroma. And a lovely bottle and label: I admit it, I'm a label (and bottle) snob, but only on aesthetic grounds...)0 -
We always buy their tinned tomatoes and haven't been disappointed yet0

lol had a laff today. in sains i wanted some salt and there was 9 packets of there basic salt for 20 odd pence so i put all the packets in my trolley. a right old !!!!! tried to grab some out of my trolley calling me a greedy sod lol. i pointed out the dearer stuff and told the old cow to pi** off.lol keep me path clear for a while.lol0

once this snow has cleared then I am going to take a trip to Sainsburys and have a good mooch around the basics range. Already buy some, just didn't realise how much there was. Got to try the curry sauce and sweet & sour sauces.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

recent additions to my basics shop: toilet cleaner (smells fresh and scrubs away nicely) handwash (nt too scented) crumpets (freeze well) teabags (brilliant value at 28p for 80!!!!!) washing up liquid facial tissues soft spread soft cream cheese0
