i dont know if this is in the wrong place but i thought id ask.
does anyone else serve up soup and chips? especially left over broth and chips? its something my mum always did and the thick broth was great over some chips. iv carried on doing it for my family and they love it especially on a cold day, but when i tell people we are having soup and chips for tea they laugh or pull their face.
just wondered if anyone else had this or if im just strange

I've got a hard enough job getting my kids to eat my soup, without letting them moan about my chips. I would love to see their faces though if I dished that up:rotfl:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0

I have heard of that, soup and chips, I think its a north of Watford Gap thing, like chips with cheese, Chips and Mushy Peas, Chips and Curry Sauce.

I knew someone who would use either Oxtail or Mulligatawny soup as gravy for chips.I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you
