    Evening everyone,

I had a lovely day at the school which has asked me to do some days over the next two weeks, so although I'm going to be busy, I'm really looking forward to it!

I haven't done any flying today, but the uniforms are in the washing machine, and about to be moved into the tumbler.

Weekly shop to be done tomorrow morning, then a couple more loads of washing, and then I want to go and see Mum in the new home. On Sunday morning I hope it will be nice enough to go to the allotment, and then in the afternoon, I have a hedge to plant - the plants arrived today! I've never planted a hedge before. I'm sharing the cost with my neighbour, as it is actually on her land. The council have cut down the hedge the other side of the wire fence and we want to make sure that we can keep our privacy in the future. I know it will take a little while to grow but we can wait!

(((AnW's mum, A and W))) - thinking of you every time I see a daffodil.

boddy - I can imagine that it is hard when your mum is upset, but it does sound as if the staff are taking very good care of her. It isn't the same situation for us, but it is hard when mum seems perfectly rational most of the time, then says something really unconnected, or asks after her own mum who died quite a long time ago. I have checked several times (nicely) with staff when Mum has said that she hasn't had anything to eat or drink that day.

I've now forgotten all the other messages I meant to say, but hugs to all in need!
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be

Hi, I've been ever so good today - DS room and mine are clean, beds stripped (mine changed but he's at his dads so just letting his breathe...), bathroom cleaned yet again (my son and toothpaste are a lethal combination), and I've cleared two old storage boxes out of his wardrobe that he doesn't use and put stuff into ebay, boot sale and "what the hell was that - chuck" piles. Now a glass of wine is in order!:T

Evening all, not had much chance to catch up on all the posts.

AandWsmum - thinking of you in these tough times, you are one hell of a woman and you 2 lovely children are very lucky to have you. As been said before we are all here for you in any way we can. xx

Pigpen - Have a great weekend, been watching bits on the news and would love to go.

JillJim - (I think) DD1 says she def doesn't want to go to rainbows anymore so if you want the uniform and she has a cap as well it's yours. PM me your address and I'll pop it in the post.

Mudbath and all those who are poorly - hope you are on the mend. By the way, what colour cast did you get in the end?

Just spent and 1½ hours doing a massive shop on MrT, lots for the month, so shouldn't have to go too often as I always get stuff I don't want. Get to the verify card page and all I'm getting is error on page and it won't do it!!! I'm so frustrated. I've logged out and will try again in a bit. I really can't take going tomorrow as it's like christmas in ours at the weekend.

Not been too good with the flying, infact I've done next to nothing! Have kept everywhere tidy and the washing/drying/ironing has been done, at least thats something. I feel soooo tired! Been like it a few weeks now, finally rang doctors today. We have to wait for a doctor/nurse to ring back to see if we really have got a problem then they will give you an appointment! Anyway, spoke to my fav doctor, she's lovely. Told her I was tired - sounds so pathetic! Told her everything else, as not just tired and I'm going for blood tests on Monday and then an appointment on Thurs with another lady doctor, who she said is really nice for a mini mot. No doubt the blood tests will come back ok and she will just tell me to loose weight and stop smoking! I know I should do both but I'm sure it can't be just that.

Really going to make an effort this weekend with flying. We are sorting our seed planting too and I have to work tom morning so will let you all know how I get on.

Have a good weekend everyone. xx
Need to sort my life out! :T

Hi there, I am slowly getting into flylady by tackling one room a day while I am off for a while. Today was mine and the BF's room,
Completly decluttered my things(just got to persaude BF to do the same   ,
    cleaned all the cobwebs away,
    cleaned all the woodwork,
    cleaned the windows and surroundings,
    swept the floor,
    steam cleaned the floor,
    cleaned all the furniture,
    stripped the bed,
    febrezzed bed, covers, pillows,
    cleaned light switch and sockets,
took down manky blinds and binned,

I am working on the idea that if i get each room done like this then it will be easy to pick up the flylady challenge next week or the week after.

Also today I have done all my laundry and handwashing, woo hoo as I hate handwashing.

Knackered now so off to read up on all the stuff I missed today on the forums with being so busy

Thank you for inspiring me to get off my a** and clean my house,

My bedroom looks lovley now and have loads of stuff to take to the charity shop and ebay, :D

Ooooh, probably between 4 and 5 stone, but I'm looking at 1 stone at a time. Weigh in is Wednesday. Lets be buddies :j :j :j We'd get kicked off the OS Weight loss thread anyway for paying for classes :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You've been doing really well so far. How much have you lost?

woohoo hey buddy  so far have lost about 13.5 lbs, I put on 4 lbs in the last 2 weeks :o so a bit of a blip there but hopefully will do better this week. Right buddies it is then. Are you doing anything over the weekend that will mess it up ? We have a colleague of DH's coming for dinner on Sunday night, he's over here for a week from the US so we are entertaining him on Sunday. So I have to cook and not sure what to do that will look good enough, taste good enough, fill him up, be vegetarian (we are veggies) but not too weird to freak him out, and be healthy!!!
Was thinking maybe veggie chilli with rice and they can have tortilla chips too. Maybe something salady to start and no idea for pudding yet.

    evening everyone.

didn't get back on after my earlier post - managed to knock DS over with the hoover - it flew a bit too quickly over the laminate floor, and he banged his head leaving a nasty bruise between his eyebrows.

He was really off it by bedtime - his nose has been like a tap, and then one of his eyes started, and his t-shirt was drenched in drool, and his temp was up. Must be somehow related to teething. I got a lovely cuddle from him as he wouldn't move from my knee for about an hour, and then in bed with no fuss after a dose of neurofen. Bless him - he is sleeping quite restlessly. Hope he has a good night and wakes up better tomorrow.

DH cooked dinner for me, including pudding and custard. We have enough veg to do me and DS tomorrow when DH is at the stag do. I did the washing up to make up for being a lazy moo.

I think my plans for the weekend are mainly washing/ironing/school work. Should do a proper list, but i think that might be a bit too depressing.

Will probably be around lots to speak to adults.

shell glad to hear you are a bit better

lil-me -good going with the coursework

    pigpen enjoy crufts

soappie sounds like you will be busy too. Hope you have a good one.
